Just rang the bailiffs who have told me that TMO have closed their office. Theyve been told that the Bradford office is only closed "temporarily", but it doesnt look good.

She did say that one of the directors were going to see her early next week with some money, so could be that a few get paid out then - no idea if mine will be included, or how many people will get settled

She said not to give up hope just yet, but it doesnt sounds too good at the mo...

That is bad news for us all........ Just when I was beginning to hope there might be a chance of getting my money. Really disheartened now ....

I think we just have to wait and see what happens next week - hopefully its just a temporary close like they say (I wouldnt be surprised if its been brought on to prevent everyone turning up at their door!) - but it might be the beginning of the end of TMO..

Thanks for the information people - looks like i'll have to postpone my trip to a later date - If they ever re-open their office...

Yes, lets see what happens, I reckon this is simply the TMO response to people arriving on their doorstep and demanding money (as you have pointed out silentbob)....they are always quick to adapt to peoples efforts to get their cashback payments....thats why I don't think they will go bust in a hurry....

On a different note: its a week since I sent my reply to Northampton Court indicating that I wish to proceed with my case following the TMO defence that they have paid my outstanding cashback via a (lost in the post)cheque in November. I was expecting some form of acknowledgement from the court by now with further instructions. Anyone know how long it takes the court to respond to this??....Unless the court's response has been lost in the post of course....LOL

Don't understand how a business can get away with this for so long and to so many people too

My husband and I are owed over £600 by TMO so we decided to take day off work on 11th feb (Monday) and travel upto Bradford (we live in Derby). On our arrival at their office we were told nobody from TMO was in, and they were not in the previous Friday. Apparently they were in on the Thursday doing training?? :mad:
We were told to leave a message for 'Jaz', who would definately phone us.
They expected TMO to be back in office on Tuesday (following day).

The Business Centre Manager told us TMO have paid for office rental up front so she does not believe they are going under. Well lets hope she is right!

So we left empty handed and a tank of petrol worse off and completely fed up.

Not heard from Jaz yet and not holding my breath. Hope tomorrow brings some joy. Guess another trip up there is the only answer?

from what i've just read - likely not.

but my second installment is due friday, so i might as well send it. i see several people commented on the new address (i originally didn't send my bills because the guy in the PO couldn't find TMO on his PC). i'm sure this has been covered in this thread a few times over but i can't seem to find a definitive answer. where to send the cashback?

the terms and conditions say 3/4 Riverdale house, shipley etc... (its on the website, 12/2/08)... but...

someone on here suggested check 'companies house' and low and behold they are now registered in sunny bradford (the other address - unit 6 etc). someone also wrote that there is no longer a redirection between the two.

hmm.. what to do. meanwhile i will sit back and wonder if special delivery is just a little good money after a lot of bad.

any thoughts? - thankyou!

ps. if you're reading this from TMO i hope its slow and painful (winding up your company that is).

They are still using the Shipley address for court correspondence and if thats the address on the Ts and Cs thats the address you should use.
