Black cat hairs molting everywhere, cat stretched out in front of fan. He's not moving much and eating less that usual, put icecubes in his water, don't think he was impressed :rotfl:0

Logan isn't really much different he loves the sun.
Bought him a paddling pool but he just thinks it's one big water bowl.
Walks are being much later in the evening about 8 or 9 pm when it's cooler.
Luckily our living room is very cool and his crate is in a shaded part so he goes there if he feels too hot.0 -
Really think my cat is bonkers. She went into the greenhouse to lay where it's hotter!!!! Bonkers!!! Then came in and laid down in front of the fan.
Daughter's cat is still having his daily shower when she has her's.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Just when I was starting to get concerned over my 12 year old boy coping with this heat, he's had a mad 10 minutes this morning:D0

Well, my cat has decided that now it's a bit cooler she would like to be back on the bed rather than underneath it. She has also decided that she wants to be on the bed...but with the duvet turned down so that she's only on the sheet, however really annoyingly wanted to let me know this by staring at me an inch off my face then scratching my forehead....about half an hour after I had fallen asleep after night shift.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0

I made my mum's dogs some weak gravy ice lollies with doggy chocolate buttons in them - her Labrador, Leo absolutely loves them!!!!
The more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0 -
The weather here has been cool and cloudy for two days. As a result the mad boy is now full of energy and wanting to play constantly. I can't tire him out.We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing.0

My dog is a Bedlington Whippet. He keeps alternating between lazing in the sun & coming in & laying on the laminate.
His bed is in the front room & I have been living the fan on all day. I've also put a cotton sheet on his bed which I am hoping will be cooler.
He usually loves to run but a gentle stroll is all he can manage at the moment. I do take plenty of water out when we go for walks. Where I live, the temperature is pretty stable from early morning to early evening. So it really doesn't matter what time I take him out, it's still far too warm.
Never thought of dog ice lollies & a paddling pool. Not sure he would appreciate a paddling pool as he doesn't like water. However, might see if I can get a cheap one. I'll also try some ice cubes aswell.0 -
I tried at the weekend to get a paddling pool - in shops and online - but everywhere is sold out.
It was much cooler here on Saturday and pup was back to normal really - playing most of the day and full of energy. Yesterday was hot and he didn't want to do much. Today is absolutely boiling. We had our walk at 6am for an hour and since then he has just laid aroundThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0
