• Does anyone know if they take US phones? I am moving back to the UK from the US next month, and wondered if they would take my US phone. It won't work in the UK, but if they sell them abroad then they might.

September £10.00 a day challenge £2.50 per day = £75 for the month. £7.84 down £63.16 to go

Well I might as well say it before someone else does:
Sorry Mr Mopay, no links allowed in signatures ;)

  • Thank you Ian for giving me the heads up. Signature links removed! Apologies for that.

Tutes24; the usual amount of time it takes to pay out is around seven working days, we recently had this down to you physically having the cheque in your hand by day seven.

Unfortunately we have had a few problems with Royal Mail and some of our FREEPOST items were not directed to us correctly. If you placed an order with us recently you should have received an email late on Friday afternoon covering this. If you didn't receive the email, please PM me your email address and order number (or email us on contact@mopay.co.uk) and we will look into it.

We have been (reliably?) informed ALL our missing FREEPOST items will be with us on Wednesday 27th June, so expect your cheque sometime in the middle of next week, latest.

If any of these facts change, we will email you with an update.

We apologise for this setback and hope it does not tarnish your feelings towards our company. (Even though it isn’t our fault, but that’s life! L)

PS: There is a possible Royal Mail strike happening at the end of this week, so I would recommend you NOT post your phones until Monday so there are not sat in some dank warehouse somewhere for 4 days…

Recieved my cheque today thanks alot mate
  • Hi everyone,

Thats great to hear Tutes, thank you for the update!

Just to let you know all the FREEPOST was recieved as expected and all payments went out as first class mail on Thursday 28th June.

All being well you should all now have a cheque in your hands. If not, wait a few more days and if it has not turned up then please email us.

Now this hiccup is out of the way we are back to an average turn-a-round (including postage times) of around 4.5 days.

    thanks for your time.

Anyone had any dealings with Mazuma? They came out best for price but no comments on here so was wondering!

Oh cool! I got a free upgrade that I HATE (thought I'd give flip phones a try--NEVER AGAIN!) and on Cex I can trade it in for the very basic Nokia bluetooth phone that I've recently fallen in love with. Thanks for the article, and I'll try and remember to post back after the transaction is complete with feedback.

Yup, ive used mazuma before. Sold them 3 phones since january fo this year. A Samsung D500, a Motorola V3 and a sony ericsson K750. First time i got my payments within 4 days, and the other two times i got payment within 2 days. Also, my D500 had a missing button on it as was chewed up by my dog, and when i emailed them about it, they still bought it off me and considered it a working phone cause it still powered up! Great, isnt it? So, yes, i would strongly reccomend u giving them a try. Good luck. x
