Thank you all so much for your kind words, I didn't expect anyone to respond to my pity party... I'm keeping as optimistic as I can, without getting too ahead of myself, I don't want bad results to knock me off my feet again, I need to stay prepared... I'll of course keep you all posted.
There is a positive side however! The situation has given me a push back into the gym, I've cranked up the amount of times I go and have been really pushing it hard, since I've read some info to say that boosting your immune system can help fight the abnormal cells, so it can't hurt in any case. Have lost a good 4/5lbs in 2 weeks, and my diet/drinking habits have also been reviewed for the better. So if ttc does go on hold, at least I'll look fabulous :rotfl:
Welcome to the mad house Em88, there's nothing like other peoples darling children to make you feel the broodiness rising is there? And of course, being married automatically opens you up to the constant question of when are you going to have children. Ugh.
Thats all from meSome times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

Hi everyone
Sorry I've been AWOL. I've just been feeling so consumed by negativity and work has been awful, so I didn't want to bring any of that on here.
Big big hugs ilovelondontown you're being so brave. I know it's really scary but it sounds like you're doing the right thing getting it sorted and staying on top of your health. Hopefully it won't impact your TTC date but try not to worry too much. I know it's so hard but you're young yet and your priority is to look after yourself do that you get to grow old and crotchety like me.
Hugs to Cookiee too, that's such a hard situation to deal with. I hope your OH recovers quickly and your plans aren't too delayed.
Welcome to all the newbies, may your stays be short and sweet.

Hi Everyone
I'd like to join in!
My Age/Partners age: 26/39
Time together: A year and a half
What are you waiting for?!: Our wedding next June!
When will you be TTC? June 2014
Any preTTC prep? Not really, but will start taking folic acid 3 months before TTC. I'm not on the pill, i track my periods/ovulation so we don't get caught out!
I'm taking my mind off TTC by... decorating our house bit by bit...planning the final bits for our wedding...saving as much cash as we can...keeping fit!0 -
Hi everyone, just wondering if i can join in, we are waiting to try for number 2. Is this forum only for trying for number 1?0

Welcome Klump.
Your more than welcome to join, this thread is for anyone waiting to conceive a baby, whether it be number 1, number 2 or number 20!!:D0 -
I'd like to join in if that's OK, who knows how far off it is for me though
Had an unplanned pregnancy which turned into loss a couple months ago. As it was unplanned ie. not ideal that means its a good couple years before it will be. All that time to wait when everyone around me is pregnant!!
My age/ Partners age: I am 21 (and a half) and he is nearly 25
Time together: just over a year and a half
Waiting for: Having our own home/me a decent grad job (finish uni in Jan)
When TTC: Hopefully before I'm 25! So anytime before 2017, gosh that's ages away!
Any preTTC prep: I generally need to learn to eat better, I have quite big food issues. Not overweight just not good at eating properly.
Taking my mind of TTC: Just dreaming of the future and motivating myself with what we need first...0 -
Hi everyone.
So pleased there's this thread!
My age/ Partners age: 35 (36 this month) / 41
Time together: 17 years
Waiting for: Me to come off (hopefully - or at least reduce) anti-depressants; OH job sorted (he works away a lot at the mo so both hoping that can/will change)
When TTC: autumn 2014
Any preTTC prep: both of us are going to see GP in a few weeks to have a general checkup. I've got a gynaefix coil (non-hormonal) and hopefully that will be removed next year. I chart my periods already so will continue with that. I've just ordered an ovulation thermometer so will start that too when it arrives.
Taking my mind off TTC: easy - life is busy enough!
OH has always wanted kids but because of various serious issues I haven't been able to contemplate it. I love kids though and love being an Auntie! Long story short: We have decided to have a year to try and reduce my citalopram (was on 60mg per day but I have managed to reduce so far to 20mg per day :j ) and to more firmly adjust my head -if that makes sense! OH is really supportive and lovely and we can talk about anything so I am so grateful that he has stuck by me! :T
Obviously we are both a bit older which is kind of scary but we're definitely young at heart!
It's a bit difficult to explain things without going into loads of detail which I don't want to do but hopefully that makes enough sense!Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional :j0 -
My age/ Partners age: 28/30
Time together: 7 years
Waiting for: our little boy to be around 2 and a half so i don't end up with two young
When TTC: Jan 2015
Any preTTC prep: none
Taking my mind off TTC: my hectic life :-)0 -
Hi all
Sorry to burden you all with my moans but I just needed to get all of this off my chest thanks for reading xx
I don't think anyone would think you need to apologise at all. Everyone needs a rant every now and then! Me and my hubby have been married for 14 years and his sister has kids and my two brothers have kids so we've always been asked "when are you going to have kids". MIL in particular has been quite aggressive about it which has upset me/us quite a few times.
At the end of the day, having kids is a big decision so if you have the opportunity to work through things and get things sorted first then hats off to you :T.
It's your life so take care of yourself and try and ignore silly people who don't know better (I know that's easier said than done!)

Hello all and big hugs to everyone - new and old!!
I have been hiding recently - apologies! Focusing on the debt busting! But we are still on the tablets to prep ourselves for conception and are looking at our health and I need to lose a small amount of weight and just basically get healthy so I'm going to focus on that between now and 2014.
Otherwise - all going forward slowly!!!
Going to catch up on everyone's progress - ilovelondontown- Hope you're ok? big hugs
