Hello Everyone
A little late in the morning for my post. I wanted a bit of a lie in this morning. No thanks to Charlie waking me up everyday in the early hours. This morning it was 4.10am. Trouble is - cos its getting light outside, I cant get back to sleep.
WM & TD both on this morning. Silly me, put the pool up, directly under the washing line! Be just my luck to peg the washing out and it lands in the pool!
Amie - still no joy with the money!
Amie & JD - enjoy yourlunch meet today!
(((hugs))) to pen-pin - hope you feel better soon with the change over of drugs!
scuzz - good luck with race for life. My cousin did hers this wk end. She finished in 10th place out of 5000, and it took her 25mins.
Best go & do my hair ready for work
Have a lovely day

morning all!
didn't get time to read most of yesterdays thread, hope to catch up later.
am meeting Mum and sis and bil for coffee later.
Unfortunately DS1 didn't get the job he went for:( so its job hunting again later.
some sad news at work, one of my service users mum died yesterday -(was expected as she was 90 with heart problems and breast cancer)but we had the task of trying to explain it to her daughter- she's 43 with tourettes, visual impairment and learning disabilities so it was not an easy task.Dont think she understands that she wont see Mum again.
2 days off now for me so hope to do some gardening later - AMIE thought of you as we have at least 2 frogs in the veggie patch at the moment:eek: so am keeping clear of that for now till DH has strimmed it!
AMIE and Jamiedodger, have a good mini-meet!
PenPin- hope things improve for you xxx
Have a good day all and I'll be back for a chat later xxxxDo what you love :happyhear0 -

Not a gd start to my morning, woke up late, and had 20 mins, to have brekkie, have a shower, get dressed and get kids dressed, never been in such a rush before :rotfl:
Havent got much planned today, all day at workHoping to hear sumthing today about my job, my boss said yesterday there may be a little chance of me staying on, if she hears back about some funding, so might not have to leave on Thurs, fingers crossed, but doesn't look hopeful
Finally did my online order on Tesco.com last nite, taken me 2 weeks to get my !!! in gear to do it lol Have stocked up on everything I need to start making my meals from scratch, so loads of cooking ingredients and store cupboard food. Just need to do an instore shop to get my fresh items, then I should have all I need to start doing proper OS cooking :j
Think I'm gonna have to rings boots.com again tonite, for the 3rd time  They are meant to be issuing me with a refund for an incorrect item they sent me, but no sign of a refund in my bank account, and they said they issued it 3 weeks ago

spent the last day going round my house in the do i really need that so a tun of freecycle emails to sift through
sulking as i had a chicken soup disaster and im am so angry i wasted the veg, pulses etc i put in (never use a chicken thats been burnt for stock, but only i would be silly enough to do that)
just the 'normal' housework to do today woke up this morning and my legs felt like lead.

Morning all!
First of all, *hugs* to PenPin and everyone else who needs them!
I have a few things planned today, including getting everything I need for my new BM, I am soooo excited about getting it, I think OH is too although he seems to be hiding it, haha. I have a job application to finish off, not the usual type so it has taken me ages to get through it, need to send it off when I go out today, so aim to have it completed by midday, here's hoping eh? I have a couple more to finish after that, the other one just needed sorting first!
Then when I pop out to get the stuff I need for the BM, I can get the application sent out, then I need to pop to a friends on the other side of Brighton. Ooh and I need to order all the stuff I need for a jewellery class I'm running at a Leaders camp at Blacklands farm, am so excited about that!
Right, had better get cracking with things!
Have a good day everyone!

Morning everybody :hello:
Didn't finish work until 6:30 yesterday so missed another session with the youth project as they'd finished by the time I would have got thereAnd it's another busy day today.
Penny-Pincher!! - I'm sorry the new meds are making you feel rubbish ((((hugs)))) I'm planning to be down your way a couple of times in the next few weeks (to drop off to, and pick up from, the super-cheap dry cleaner I used to use regularly when I lived there!) so perhaps we can have a cuppa and a chat? It will be two Saturdays, some combination of the 16th, the 23rd and the 30th (y'see I'm moneysaving to the last - my Zones 1-4 travelcard runs out on 1st July so I'm making the most of cheap stuff in Zone 4 while I can... funnily enough even when I have to pay extra to get there, the dry cleaner will STILL work out cheaper than any near me!)
Must be off now as my work isn't going to do itself

Well it's a lovely day in London too:D Downside to that is I must plough my way through the laundry basket, which has magically managed to refill itself to overflowing again:rolleyes:
I did finally manage to skim the weekend threads so i have a better idea of what's been happening. So big hugs and fingers crossed for Haribo and Frugal, hugs that PP's injections work to make it worthwhile and hugs to scuzz that her nasty e-mail comes to nought. (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
Not a lot of great interest happening in the Churchmouse household. DH is presently hammering new bits of wood to replace the rotten bits of wood on his shed. Now he hasn't hit his fingers yet, but we do keep getting groans about his back aching, so that should be jolly when we sit down for lunch;) Incidentally, there will be so little of the old shed still standing I *think* it would have been a lot quicker, albeit more expensive, simply to have bought a new shed:rotfl: (now don't all shoot me down!! It was only a thought:D )
Have to run a friend to the hospital some time today. She had a *woman's* op last week, and was discharged on Sunday, but they hadn't got the medication she needs. Was supposed to go back for it yesterday, but when I went to pick her up the hospital still hadn't got it sorted, so I took her shopping instead, and we've to go back today:rolleyes: Must be really necessary medication then:rotfl: :rotfl: (Well I hope it isn't:eek: )
Haven't a clue what we're having for dinner, will stick my hand in the freezer and hope for the best!!:D
Bye for now,
CMxx
Just edited to say, have a lovely meet Amie and JamieDodger. Have you met before?
Now I'm editing edits!!Good luck scuzz for your run! I must clean this keyboard, there are so many crumbs in it, some keys just don't register:rotfl:

Good Morning to all, what a lovely morning so far, I intend sitting in the garden with a coffee, a book and my 10 month old puppy for company.
Huge hugs to PP - I do hope you feel better today.
Crazychick -have you checked your jeans/coat pockets - I hope you find the money. The number of times I put things in a safe place and then can't find them, only to turn up a week or so later.
Taplady - Sorry to hear your DS1 didn't get the job, It can be a wee bit disheartening but as I told my OH when he was looking for "Employed" work rather than being self employed - interviews are an experience everyone can learn from - wishing him luck on the job hunting front.
Scuzz - Run girl and for a great cause - wishing you well for Sunday.
Sending Positive vibes to Haribo this morning, and sending hugs to anyone in need, enjoy the sunshine and take care
Just popped back in, can anyone tell me why my HM bread is really soft on the inside but as tough as old boots on the outside? I have tried different yeast/flour etc but the results haven't really changed..its a Morphy Richards BM, the rolls are fantastic but the bread still needs a wee bit of tweaking - any ideas would be much appreciated.

I forgot to say. Visited Mr T yesterday. Stuck to the list and the bill was still £27:eek: , but with the lovely offers and coupons, I got that down to £7:T :T
And picked up lots of extra points too. Think I got 135 for the shop:jComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0
