Bott & co have contacted me and said the airline have agreed my claim and I will be paid my compensation within 42 days happy days!!0

Thanks guys. Tui have turned me down twice now, their final letter was most definite! The CAA haven't replied to me within their own time frame and haven't responded to any of my reminders. I was hoping to do this myself but haven't got the confidence to take them to court. I'll see what Bott & Co say and also get them to confirm my financial liability . 75% of something is better than 100% of nothing after all.
Got nowhere. They couldn't find details of the flight that was delayed so would not progress with my claim. Found another company called Claims4flights so will see how it goes. Anyone used them?0 -
Mine has been stuck at 'Defence Received' and our lawyers are considering the response and our next steps since 19th September. I suspect at this stage they may decide the amount of work involved is too much to justify their return and will decline to take it further.0

Ooh lets hope not - mine too has been at that point since 30th Sept. I'm still staying positive0 -

Woo hoo, recieved this this morning:
Good Morning,
We can confirm that we have filed a directions questionnaire at Court on your behalf. This is a document which tells the Court how we think the claim should proceed and the Court will now list the matter for a hearing and provide details of when evidence should be disclosed.
There is an administrative delay whilst the Court processes this document. Unfortunately this can sometimes take up to 8/10 weeks but we will do all we can to progress the matter as quickly as possible.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.0 -
Daughter & friend flew EZY1974 PFO-MAN on 12/09/2010
I think I've discussed it on here before.
Anyway, as she's only 22I had to take on the case for her.
We played e mail tennis with EJ for a few months then, as she was out of the country, we sort of gave up.
I then saw the recommendation on here for Bott & Co so we handed it over to them
After only one letter from Bott, EJ have paid out
Two cheques arrived today - both for €400
Hand written cheques in €uros with 'payable only in Great Britain written on them (well, they wouldn't want to make it easy would they!!!
Thanks Coby and Bott .... as well as to all the other MSE forumites.

Had a follow up e mail from Bott today -
We should add that if payment is received from the it will likely be in euros. Should that be the case we can confirm that we are happy to deal with the cheque on your behalf, arrange for EU claim to be paid and also transfer into sterling at absolutely no cost to you.
I don't like to say "it sounds too good to be true", but ....0 -
I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I thought it would be easier to use this company to file my claim but I'm now having regrets on the time it's taking.
Current time frame
23/05 I provide euclaim with documents
28/05 euclaim send first letter to airline
I've emailed them a few times now asking what the hold up is. They kept saying they've had 1100 cases to deal with ect ect.
16/10 I sent them another email as after nearly 5 months without progress I was beginning to get a bit annoyed. They replied the same day promising to send out some certificates of suitability as their is minors involved and they would pull the case to the front of the queue.
I still haven't received anything and just wondered where I stood. Am I able to go elsewhere with my claim. It makes no difference to them how long it takes as they are set to receive the interest anyway.
We were a family of 6 on flight TOM882 5th June 2010.
Thanks in advance0 -
Have posted a few times on the Jet2 forum and have decided to hand everything over to Bott&Co. Got the usual letters back from Jet2 playing letter tennis but was unwilling to take it further myself as couldn't find a definite delayed time. The flightstats website only gave an estimated arrival time based on departure, rather than an actual time and made us less than 3 hours delayed. According to Bott&Co it seems we were 3 hours 8 minutes delayed so may have a claim. Fingers crossed!0
