  • Hi Buffy - well done on the seal pot money, thats fantastic!

I am thinking about starting the PAD challenge, and maybe the sealed pot one too, but I don't want to give myself too many targets all at once!

How long did you do the sealed pot for, and what size of pot did you use to accumulate that total? Weird questions!

Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight.

    Mrs S x

    hello :)

I did various sealed pots (20, 10, 5, 50, £1, £2, coppers) jars normal money boxes, a big plastic coke can and a coffee jar. I started early on in my MSE life but haven't been using it for about two years - the big coke can went behind the sofa!

I think if you are in the mood the challenges can be great.

I am doing 1 debt in 100 days now too!

ooo I didn't nap!! two days, no napping!

  • I think I need to get onto this one, every little bit helps towards debt freedom! I'm definately motivated to get debt busting at the moment, and my hubby is now finally on board too, so it feels like it might actually move forward a bit!

I will have a rummage for jars tomorrow, I think I have some I was keeping for doing sweets for grandparents in at Christmas time.

Well done on the no napping!! I am thinking about going to bed soon, otherwise I will most definately require a powernap tomorrow afternoon!!

    Morning,

Feeling a bit !!!! today, need to go into work to collect stuff and empty my room. Makes me feel so anxious! SO anxious.

I can only be there till lunchtime. And then it is home for much de-cluttering and sorting. hopefully a quick trip to the tip and maybe the charity shop - to drop stuff off! not to shop. might not manage that...hmmm.

I am very disappointed with my work re dissertation - I haven't done any! Just can't move here, too much mess.

I also need to feed my friend's cat! must not forget.

Even on "holiday" I have shoulds all over the place! That's life really. :)

    Challenges

My 100 days finishes on the 22nd Oct.

    1. To pay off 2000 pounds of my debt total - now doing the debt v100 days Challenge for this so that is till the 27th Nov.

    2. Finish the Masters - this might still happen. Anything is possible.

    3. To declutter the house - work in progress.

    4. To save for a holiday in half term - not doing! have to be serious - I need the money either for debts or savings.

    5. To add to the deposit fund and to save 500 for Christmas - already have 218 so not so bad. - ticking along. want to stick to the 365 challenge. am paying 50 quid to the deposit fund

    6. Spend more time with friends. - have been out a few times.

    7. Sort out my money situation in terms of "investments" - still need to check my Premium bonds!

    8. Make a plan for living elsewhere - May next year - probably renting depends on savings...and job

    9. Finish my Tefl course - have extended it.

    10. Get fit. seriously and sort out my wardrobe. - taking care of this with my "till 9/11/13 plan.

My Original 100 days (this thread) was about me focussing on my goals and I knew I wouldn't finish it all by the 22/10/13 however hopefully I will be in good habits by then.

One thing I will say, the garden looks a bit good!

Ok enough planning and thinking, time to actually do!

  • Morning all

One of the dogs isn't well, found lots of vomit in his crate this morning and he is well off his food. Made me feel sick so I am guessing it must be bad(normally it doesn't affect me). And of course Mum did the whole don't be sick thing and stood trying to be helpful so I wasn't so now I have that horrible churned up feeling like I need to be sick. UGH.

    Any way, moving on.

Today I am going to get petrol! must not forget! I have to go to work for a bit and then go out and about on a hunt for what I need to finish the pond!

have sorted the passport problem which is good.

Then it is back here for a mammoth tidy of my room (closet teenager) and conservatory.

Holiday is almost over! how depressing.

must go eat something I guess. I need a green smiley.

  • Haven't really stopped feeling sick all day but I think it is worry about the dog who is definitely NOT himself. We took him to the vets, he doesn't have a temp, she couldn't feel an obstruction and he poo'd normally this morning. BUT has been sick or been heaving up nothing about 6/7 times today. (you wanted to know that didn't you!). vet gave him an anti vomiting injection which hasn't worked - well not yet, he has tried to be sick in the garden just now. He has no energy and has been asleep all day, he wouldn't come out to the vets either. I had to carry him :(:(:( Once he was at the vets he was more alert and walked about fine. but I am worried.

Oh and vet cost 55 quid.

Really hope the dog's okay Buffy. It's always worse with animals as they can't tell you how their feeling. Is it hot your way today? Maybe the weather has affected him?

    Thanks Emz,

He was a little sick but has nothing to throw up. he was very quiet all last night and this morning. I am going to pop out and get some chicken and rice for him see if he will eat that.

Mum and I have are just arguing about what kind of chicken to get. Bloody hell this is hard work!!

and on to one of the normal arguments.

    *goes off mumbling and swearing*

Oh plus one the of the guinea pig is hiding and I think one of the gerbils is ill too.

    vets appointments all round.

  • Hi Buffy,

Sounds like you should just arrange to have your salary paid straight to the vet at the moment :(. Hope they are all ok.

Just reading about all your decluttering makes me feel tired!

    Can sympathise with mother issues!

  • yep PLMBL I should just pay my wages into the vets and Sainsbury's really.

My lovely dog got more and more sick so we went to the emergency vets! He is staying over night for tests and fluids.

Things like this make me realise how my disorganisation screws up things so much.

Hopefully he will be able to come home tomorrow.

Our other doggy is totally fine being on his own. most odd.

I have to fill in my passport form.................yawn
