    Hello Diary,

    I live on the internet.

This is not good at all. It is on my phone, on my kindle on my laptop.

I waste HOURS online. checking reading, going down rabbit holes of links and videos.

In some ways I am only doing what everyone does these days and it is part of modern life but I noticed my hands actually hurt?! and I get some pains shooting up my wrist and arms....so I will have to stop or cut down.

( Random aside - I want to be like Fiona Bruce, she is fab)

I did nothing of any note today, had plans, got period pains - a week early! I did a few odd things and order new furniture for my room.

I know I have no cash and can't afford it but I bought

    2 tables
    a bedspread
    two storage boxes
    a desk jotter thing.

I have done this for two reasons.

    1. I need more space and furniture that fits the space.

    2. And sadly as possibly one of the piggies has diabetes they will need to be housed separately. Which means more space - well the same space but differently arranged! (it looks like more space tho!)

If I do decide to get a job abroad it won't be until sept 2014 and whilst I might do some travelling (now I have a passport!) I think they are set for the next year. I wouldn't want to rehome the older pair. so fond of all of them. having pets is difficult and expensive!

On the plus side I walked the dogs and moved some stuff into the shed. Also took photos for stuff to sell.

I can pay for this out of my savings (my ever diminishing savings!) which I will pay back.

Also read more of the book, which is making a lot of sense.

    catch you all later.

    Hello

Have been trying to cut down internet ness. Mixed success.

    Bad news

furniture isn't coming till next week - IE when I am at work not good. Mum will be stressed. well my sister might be here so that's ok thinking about it.

have disabled e mails on the dating website. It gets depressing and most recently I had one guy - SO typical of the stories you hear but he was living with a woman. let it slip in a text. Just YUCK.

May have a problem with the agency I work for. might not have a job! have to find out tomorrow.

Not going to be debt free by the end of the year

worked out wages from supply teaching. Not good at all. Not at all. I did need to leave my old school for sure. but am going to be so skint! bit frightened. bit thinking it would be a good challenge.

Also doggie still ill and now has hurt his foot :(:(

    Good news

tutoring has been good. (well the kids have been great)

It was good to see my friend at tutoring and went out with a group last night which was a right laugh.

finally paid in my sealed pot money and have paid 62 quid off the cc.

also paid my tes CCs off although have spent on it again am going to not spend on it anymore and should be able to pay it off at the start of September.

Overall things are very shakey. Got lots to do and no privacy to do it in.

and they did one of those marriage proposals on the One Show and it made me cry. As did them mentioning Bobby Robson.

I am ok I guess. More than ok really. I don't live in Syria I have food and a roof over my head. I have lots of potential to get things right eventually............

Potential is a pain in the !!!!.

any how have work to do.

    (Random - I love Alan Shearer. )

  • Mixed bag but definitely some positives. Cling to the positives.

I don't live far from Alan Shearer (though not in a big posh house like him, alas). He is a nice guy and drinks in the local pub/eats in the local Italians etc. His family are nice too!

Yuck to the cheater. Lucky escape there!! Xx

  • Hello all,

Overshare - my period came a week early, I thought good, that means it won't be a horrible start in my job.

got my period, no side effects, bit of backache. Result!

This weekend the time my period should have arrived. I have a spot on my chin, the most awful cramps yesterday followed by a migraine. Lets just say throwing up spaghetti is not a pleasant experience. Look I said I was oversharing!!

Someone explain this. Whilst I sit and rock about it not being fair!

I took tablets so now feel very strange and still got a headache. Unfortunately, I have loads to do today.

    Money things

    1. I paid back my savings and 365 money.
    2. I am "pretending" that I have only been paid my new and much lower wage!
    3. I have 700 quid to cover ALL expenses this month. petrol, food, pets, car,

however this doesn't include my Tesco bill.

    which I shall go investigate!

    xx

I will at some point when not fogged in the head make more sense I hope.

  • Hmmm.

I checked online - my tescos bill is HUGE.

    and I don't know why!

    it is 793. :eek::eek::eek::eek::o:o:o:o:o:o:o:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

It won't let me look at the transactions for the month. And I am still foggy today.

and now depressed. It is probably mostly the vets, couple of nights out. petrol. IKEA,

I think I might have borrow back out of the savings. !!!!!! it. I was thinking it would be about half that.

I clearly don't have a handle on my spending if I can't even tell you all what it has been spent on.

    on phone to them now

    Hi Buffy,

Dont be too hard on yourself :)

Would it be a good idea, do you think, to 'go back to basics' and keep a spending diary for a month, to see where that money is going?
i know that about 6 months before my DF moment i started slipping slightly, and keeping the diary for a month really helped me.
    Just a suggestion.

    Hope you feel better soon.
  • hmmmm

Well the nice people at Tesco's let me look at my transactions and er..........well it is a bit much frankly

Some of it is the vets but I won't get that money back till, well I don't know when.

The unknowns were the cremation bill for my gp, the passport costs and two nights out. At least it was all genuinely me!

So I have paid off 600 pounds (from my savings. Luckily I was planning on doing with out that this month and lucky I have/had it)

I need to "find" the other 200 quid. And most importantly I need to not use the damn card any more!

sorry I didn't see your post before. I think I will try that. It is mainly the vets and passport and IKEa. in the last two months I have spent 542 at the vets. But I do waste money.

migraine seems to have triggered toothache and I do want to sit and cry.

however I shall go to bed.
