    Morning all.

Good luck at the orthotist CW - hope he has come up with something that will make life much better for you.

I'm fuming at the moment. Just had a call to say the window fitters can't make it today as they had their lorry stolen with their equipment and they want to make a new date. I went into orbit as we have taken down curtains & moved everything ready for them. Also we are busy next week and have visitors coming to stay so needed this weekend to clear up afterwards.
At the moment waiting for a callback to say they will do it tomorrow but not sure what the outcome will be.
Don't think it would be a good idea to take my BP at the moment!!
    Rant over.

    Hi all

What a hot day here - hope everyone else is enjoying the sunshine.

Glad to hear all is well with you Jeferey.

Now have lovely new windows fitted even if it was more than a hassle. Really pleased with the finish.

    Hi red, kerri and Jeferey

Glad they turned up, albeit later than your wanted to fit your new windows red. Such a pain when workmen mess you around, they always have an excuse as well but if you messed them around they would have a fit.

Its sunny today but wasn;t nice yesterday. Yesterday we had wind, some rain and it was cold but today its nice and sunny and I have washing on the line.

The orthotist has ordered me 2 knee braces to try so just got to wait to hear from them when they arrive. The new one they got was not suitable, it was a very strange contraption with dials on, she said I will set you on a number 5..... but it dug into my shin bone too much and was painful.

Jeferey - fancy forgetting to send a few diamonds my way... tut tut... lol. Glad your ok anyway.

kerri - hope all is well with you.

Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey

Well after a lovely few days we are back to miserable grey clouds and lots of rain. Got soaked yesterday going to the drs for a blood test and shopping.

Back to hospital next Wednesday for a new knee brace. hope this one does the job.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Morning all.

Like you CW weather here has returned to more normal. Looks as though we had quite a lot of rain overnight which was badly needed & everything feels lovely & fresh this morning. Hope the new brace does the trick at last.

The last 10 days have been quite sad as we have been to 3 funerals of friends. Quite interesting though as they were all completely different - one very traditional (with burial), one lovely which really celebrated her life and the last one for an atheist but who was also an alcoholic. Another friend took that service and we learned things we didn't know & it was completely laid back & somewhat irreverant but so perfect for him!

At least the week ended on a happy note, as it was a special birthday for me this week & we went out for a lovely meal last night with all the family.

Jeferey & Kerri Hope all is good in your world and you are both having some time to enjoy life.

Morning all! Sorry for the absence....again, work manic ATM and trying to get house stuff done. Plus we were away last weekend for a wedding 'up north' and its taken me all week to recover (from the travelling....honest!)

Cw hope you get your knee brace sorted soon, there must be something out there suitable for you.

Jeferey swing by on your private yaucht sometime lol. How are the veg coming along? I love the run up into autumn when everything becomes ready to harvest. I did get one more strawberry off my plant so far lol.

Red sorry to hear about the funerals, it often seems to be that way doesn't it. I do think it's nice though that these days there is the option to do what people wanted for their send off. I went to one last year where one of the guests came dressed as elvis!

Weather here has been mixed, mostly warm but rained cats n dogs yesterday. Which was quite good actually as I got to see how the treatment we had put on the decking was working. It's fab, water just sits on the top so it's all wet, then once it evaporates, the deck underneath is practically bone dry.
