Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey
I hate decorating so feel for you kerri. Its so hard to decide what you want and choosing wallpaper is a nightmare of going round every wallpaper shop on the planet and then probably choosing the first one you liked. lol.
My sore throat isn;t as bad as it was but this damp weather isn;t helping at all.
Hope your all well,
CWxx0 -
Evening all. Sorry to hear you're still below par CW - did you try the hot water with lemon, bicarb and honey?
On the decorating front the skirting is now on, the holes in the walls have been filled and the skirting has had its first coat of paint. We have the paint for the chimney breast and the end feels in sight. Although we now have virtually all our lounge stuff in the kitchen, there should be just one more days painting to be done and then that will be finished. Still need to get blinds (having them fitted professionally) but at least that won't involve emptying the room again.
Pouring with rain here today but still not cold for 1st Oct - though I need to figure out our heating as a) it comes on automatically in the mornings now and we really don't need it on b) the radiator in the bedroom whistles when it comes on about 4 / 5 am and wakes me everytime. Tried bleeding it tonight but it didn't seem to need it.
Busy here as per usual - had a pole show tonight that I've been fretting about for weeks - 3 mins and it was all over. Routine more or less went to plan though which is good - didn't really put a load of new moves / tricks in which I think OH was a bit disappointed about - I shall let him hang upside down holding on with his thighs in future then :rotfl: Will change it up for the next one though - although this song was outside of my norm so I felt I did ok with that.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Afternoon red, kerri and Jeferey
I don;t know where the time goes, days go past and you do the same jobs. Washing, cleaning, shopping, cooking and before you know it the days gone and you start again.
Its lovely today but windy but at least I can dry the washing outside. Not bad for the 5th October anyway.
kerri - bet you can;t wait for your house to be finished. Best find out how to work the heating before the really cold weather gets here. Mind you with all those pole dancing activities keeping you and your dh warm who needs central heating. lol.
Take care guys

Hi all. My turn to be AWOL :rotfl:
The pumpkins were about 8kgs each CW, really pleased with them. No I don't do shows red. You sound very busy too Kerri - I don't envy you the decorating.
Been really busy, had 1YO plus 2YO last night, didn't get too much sleep
Got myself a new road bike and have done 2 x 50+ mile rides so far.
Looking forward to a week away in North Yorkshire at end of this month.
Hope you're all doing ok, take careIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Evening all. Hope you're all ok.
One more day at work then 10 days off. Going to North Yorkshire in a few days for a bit of a break.
Take care .....If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Like Jeferey hope everyone is fit & well.
Also like Jeferey we are off on Friday for a weekend in Somerset at Warners. Looks like good entertainment for the weekend but good just to relax & be waited on.
I played my first full game of bowls last week and really pleased that my knee behaved itself, although I am having a little pain because I tried to swim when away last month & had a problem. I have my 6 month review next month so have to get it checked then, although an X-ray has shown the new knee hasn't been displaced so it is probably just tendons or something like that.
Hope everyone is still getting some sunshine before winter proper arrives.
Take care all.0 -
Hey everyone, been manic here as per usual this year. Sounds like some nice trips planned.
Red good to hear your knee is letting you play bowls again, fingers crossed for the review. Swimming should be good for it as it will strengthen all the muscles round it but take it easy if it's giving you pain now.
CW how is your knee? any progress on the brace? and how is your throat now too?
jeferey I am in awe of your pumpkins! They sound amazing
Well the lounge has now been decorated (although I am now tihnking we should've had the doorframe painted as that is a slightly diff colour to the white of the skirting...except that would show up against the door...and so it goes on lol! We've kind of got the furniture in now how we want it, new TV unit that had been delivered back in July is finally unpacked and looks good - and the old one out in the garage for sale or Freecycle. We had the blinds measured last week so that's 3-4 weeks approx to fitting. It's all coming together and we're looking forward to having this room done (except for new sofas) hopefully before xmas - I even had 5mins to unpack another box today.
Gorgeous sunny autumn weather here in the main - long may it last.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey.
Its ages since I have posted and what have they done to this site. Took me quite a while to find you, they certainly didn;t want to make using mse easy.
Well we have had a busy month with lots of hospital and drs appointments for me and my family. My ds has been so busy running around and he is now unwell too and having blood tests etc. He has had some dodgy blood test resuls and we are waiting on more results to see whats wrong.
My sore throat problem has been pushed to one side to deal with more important issues so living with it at the moment.
Still no news re a new brace, think its time to phone orthotics and remind them I am here. lol.
kerri - sounds like your ran off your feet atm with decorating. Horrible job, I hate every moment of it, hate the smell of paint, the mess it causes. I know it has to be done though so hope it all goes smoothly from now on.
red - be careful you don;t overdo your knee. You dont want a set back so hope all ok now. Enjoy your holiday in Somerset.
Jeferey - glad to hear you still have some little FT visiting you and your DW, I bet you will need your holiday to recover from having 2 little ones at the same time. lol.
Take care guys and sorry for going AWOL again.

Good morning red, kerri and Jeferey
Everyone is so busy with RL atm but still thought I would post something.
Its a nice day here, sunny, and fairly warm for the time of year. Washing is on the line and another load in the machine.
My ds and dh are going to take some garden rubbish to the tip in a while bits of wood etc. Then will cut a load of plants down ready for winter. Doing it today as the forecast is bad for the rest of the week.
So take care guys.
Enjoy Halloweeen

Took FD out last night for trick or treat. She really enjoyed it. Our pumpkins looks great lit up outside, got some good feedback from people wanting carving lessons lol!
