    Afternoon all.

CW -Glad to hear you will be having a MRI scan - let's hope it really shows what is happening in your knee so you can have some treatment. Hope your DS recovers quickly so he is not suffering as well.

It is quite windy and cold here - you certainly need to be well wrapped-up when you venture outside but at least it is not raining today.

We are with Talktalk for broadband & they recently upgraded us to their new server. My DH has no problem on his laptop but for me on the PC it has been a nightmare. I have been tearing my hair out the last few days - it is really slow & keeps freezing or dropping off when I try to delete anything on my email. It appears to be a known problem but why do these companies rollout something which is useless!

Looking forward to tomorrow as out for lunch with the "Wrinklies (my DH's golf group & wives). We go to a centre run by Latvians - food & drink is good & as we have a private room don't have to worry if we are a bit noisy. It has lovely grounds but unlikely we will walk round afterwards if the wind continues & I think rain is forecast for tomorrow.

    Take care.

Good evening kerri, red and Jeferey

red - my ds is doing really well. He has to soak his foot in salt water every day and I have to do his dressings so its kept clean and dry. He goes back to hospital for a check up on Friday. He was a bit off colour yesterday, he was pale and tired so its obviously affected him but its so difficult for him as he looks after me and his dad.

I think he feels a bit better today though so hope this op works. Third time lucky.

We have had problems with our internet too. We had no internet for a few days and it even went off a few times yesterday too. You really miss the internet when it goes down as well. lol.

red - hope you enjoyed lunch with your "wrinklies" lol.

    CWxx

Good morning kerri, red and Jeferey

Hope Storm Imogen isn;t causing you too many problems. We only have rain atm so hope it misses us up North.

Seems to be one storm after another this last few weeks/months. Roll on spring and better weather.

    Morning all.

Really blustery here last night but sun is shining at the moment even though it is still windy. Feel so much more cheerful when there is a bit of sun.

Didn't get to my lovely lunch yesterday as I caught the bug my DH has had all week and didn't go as didn't want to pass it on. Luckily looks as though I am not as bad as DH but now have my usual problem of a hacking cough. Just hope it doesn't linger too long.

Agree CW seem to have had so many storms - do we notice them more now that they have been given names?

Hope you are feeling better in yourself now you know the GP is taking some action.

Good afternoon CW, Red & Kerri :)
Took FB back yesterday afternoon - managed to sleep a bit! Took DD2 to opticians yesterday morning for a contact lens check (she's back for half term) & popped in to M&S while we were waiting. Got loads of reduced stuff like packs of salmon fish cakes for 45p (got 4 packs!) - only spent £13 and filled freezer back up :D

Glad you've got MRI scan CW, let's hope you're getting close to sorting out your knee problem. Good luck to DS.
Red - also blustery here, just back from a 4 mile dog walk, rained a bit but saw a lovely rainbow.
Also walked to hospital this morning for some blood tests. Side still hurts- still having physio.
    Take care

Evening all - apologies for my absence (yet again) last week was totally manic and then we were away up north of the boarder for the weekend which meant a very early start on Friday and a busy weekend. Thankfully neither of our flights (there or Rtn) were too bumpy and ran on schedule despite Storm Imogen's best intentions. Picked mog up from the cattery today - think we're still in the dog house with her!

CW glad to hear you have an MRI scan and physio scheduled for a visit, you can't go on like you are. Hope your DS foot is healing well too.

jeferey fingers crossed the blood tests at least show what's causing you the pain - do you feel well apart from the pain?

red sorry to hear you've been unwell too. I think we've been noticing the storms as it has been one after the other this year, plus we probably take more note because of the severity of them in the US. I'm thankfully in one of the more sheltered areas of the country though there are flood warnings being issued locally now.

Good afternoon all :D - hope everyone feels better soon.....
Kerri - yes, feel ok just fed up it's taking this long to sort out.
I slept in this morning, first time in over 20 years - I had stupidly set my alarm for 06:40 instead of 05:40 - doh! Got to work on time though :)

Sounds like you needed the sleep jeferey - sorry to hear your side is still hurting. I was out running by the time you got up this morning :p

    CW hope you're ok x

Hello to red and anyone else lurking.

Busy day here, morning run, then dropped OH at a conference, had to get petrol on the way home then a full day of work before yoga tonight. Should sleep well tonight!

Kerri Your schedule makes me feel tired just reading it!

Jeferey I don't know what 6.40 in the morning looks like unless we are going on holiday. The delight with being retired is that you can get up anytime in the morning and I have to say we usually come to about 8.00 am.
Hope you are feeling fully fit soon - it's so frustrating when you don't feel 100%.

CW How are you? Is no news good news or the reverse?

Good morning Kerri, red and CW and thanks :D
DW has got me some heat pads you stick on you so one of those will be going on my side very soon!
Alarm was set to correct time this morning so no problems getting up :rotfl:
Take care, pretty frosty this morning - just seen a pile-up on way into work, police had blocked all the road off
