    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

Its raining heavily here atm and quite windy as well. Dont want to go out in it either. :rotfl:Much rather stay in and do housework I think:rotfl:.

Will keep checking the area where my ds planted the snowdrops and crocus to see if they flower. Just hope we have a nicer summer than last year. All i can remember is rain for last summer with the very occasional nice warm day.

If either of you list on ebay then check your my ebay messages. Free listing January has been extended to included free listing February as well.

Well another wet day here, been raining but stopped atm, but more due later. Stopping in to let my dh and ds do some more painting.

The started to paint the hall and stairs 2 days ago, got the paint out and stirred it and tipped over a full 5 ltre tin of emulsion, luckily all over the drive not the house. Took them so long to clean up they didn;t get much done on day 1 as only about a couple of inches of paint left in the tin. Finished the mist coat on the walls yesterday using a 2nd tin of paint, so going to paint the ceiling today.

I keep out of the way as for some reason paint seems to leap at me and I always end up covered in it. :rotfl: I only picked up and folded one of the cloths on the floor yesterday and got paint on both hands, and my t shirt. I thought the cloths must be dry as they had finished painting a couple of hours earlier.

Take care guys and keep dry

Good morning CW and Kerri. We need the lounge redecorating (or should I say decoraing as the 'new' skirting boards we got ages ago have never been painted :o) so we're thinking of roping our handyman neighbour in to do it while we're away at Easter :D
Good job it was only emulsion CW, can you imagine the mess with gloss/eggshell/etc.
Had my physio session last night and ended up having acupuncture in my back too. Helped quite a lot but sore again today - need to do the exercises the physio gave me.
    Take care

In a bad way atm with my problem right knee/leg. The pain is so bad atm I can;t walk and spent all day yesterday in bed with my leg raised. The dr is coming out later on to see me so don;t know what will happen. Just getting to the loo is a challenge.

Hope the physio and accupuncture works Jeferey and the pain eases.

Its very windy, blowing a gale in fact atm here and we are due rain and poss snow later on.

    Take care guys

Don;t envy you the decorating Jeferey. If you can get a neighbour to do it for you when your not there that would be great. It would all be dry when you get home and no trying to wriggle round ladders, paper, paint etc.

Evening all. jeferey when your neighbour is done, send him this way lol!

CW how's the knee? Sounds really painful - any idea what has caused it to flare up?

Busy week here and lots of stuff going on which I won't bore you with but suffice to say its all been rather stressful and I'm glad its the weekend.

Weather here is blowing a gale too - no rain as such just windy - wakes me up at night too - although I can't complain - others have much worse to deal with.

Can't believe that its the end of Jan already.

my right knee has been painful for the last 6 months approx. I have had x rays and it didn;t show anything but the dr says I ahve arthritis in it. It swelled up and has been difficult to walk on but on Thursday I woke up and my right leg couldn;t take any weight and I am stuck upstairs atm. The dr came out and told me to rest my leg as he doesn;t know why it suddenly got so much worse. I am on a conconction of tabs, naproxin, codeine, and paracetamol to try and help. Also ibuprofen gel but nothing seems to work. I have to wait till the middle of March for physio and phone the dr in a week if no improvement.

Really struggling atm. Sorry for moaning at you guys, just feeling sorry for myself.

    Take care

Morning all ! pop on and have a read from time to time to see what you are all up to.

CW - Suggest you ask your GP if you can have a MRI scan on your knee. An X-ray will show you have arthritis but it will not necessarily show other problems. I managed to have a MRI scan on my knee last year when they kept insisting it was arthritis but I felt it was something else. It was and I had to have a repair to the cartilage before being listed for a new knee.

Don't be afraid to be persistent with your GP - you sometimes have to push to get what you need.

No need to apologise CW being in pain and not really knowing why nor being able to do much about it is horrible and I hope it settles back down soon. I agree with Redabout pushing for a scan.

Busy day here, up out and about this morning then OH and I went for a rare brunch out (he paid) so dinner tonight will prob be a roll or something light. But of housework this afternoon (Hoover hadn't been out for a bit as have been busy) and a bit of paperwork sorting. Migh chuck a few things on fleabay tonight if I can be bothered.

Windy but dry today so had a wash outside and think it's dried which is nice. Actually felt s little warmth in the sun out of the wind today too. Spring isn't far awash although winter has been mild. Sorry, I'm turning into Michael Fish here :rotfl:
