Afternoon CW, there always seems to be something else! Dust always seems to get everywhere...
We've wrapped pretty much everything up, I'm not going to bother with FD's new bike ;)
I've only got 1 card left to write and post to an old pal and 2 just to post through doors when we visit my mum & dad next week.
    Finish at 12:00 tomorrow :j
Picked up another bunch of flowers for DW today as she's only just thrown out the one I got her on the 5th . Another AMEX Shop Small buy so another £5 credit and more brownie points for me :D
    Afternoon Kerri.
    Take care :)

Afternoon all! I've wrapped most but not all presents. All card done except one which is for someone I'm seeing tonight so getting there slowly. I'm off now until Jan so trying to catch up on things that I don't get time to do when working. Also had to get a new kettle today (did I mention ours was leaking, I contracted the manufacturer and they're going to test it for me even though it's out of guarantee, which I think is fair as I think a £50 kettle should last lomger than under 2 yrs)

Glad the plastering is coming along cw the mess won't last forever and you'll have lovely smooth surfaces after. Window sounds an interesting one and deff need to get advise about the lintel. There's always something isn't there. I'm trying to roll with the punches more rather than getting worked up....I'll let you know how that goes :rotfl:

jeferey stick a big bow on the handlebars of FD bike and she'll be thrilled. Lucky little lady.

Right, must dash. Dinner to get ready for. X

Ps it's so mild here I had the washing outside drying today, didn't exactly dry much but better than having damp washing in the house all the time. Had to put some on radiators as it was as I didn't have room for it all on the airer.

Been to sister's house this afternoon for drinks and nibbles.

    Take care.....

    Good morning guys

The plaster is still drying so don;t think we will get it painted in next couple of days so it will have to wait till next week. At least its done even though we are still cleaning plaster up that splashed onto doors, skirtings etc.

Couldn;t do anything yesterday as was ill again. Thats 4 times in 2 months I have had such bad dizziness and vomiting I cannot move. Was ok when got up but an hour later I felt dizzy and that was it for the rest of the day. When I go to the drs he says its a virus, but why the same virus 4 times now. So far today feel ok, just hope I haven;t spoken too soon.

Pressies wrapped but still got to buy a few things to wrap up for someone. Been writing my shopping list as well so I don;t forget anything I am trying to be organised for once.

Defo put a nice bow on the new bike for your FD and she will love it.

Hope you both enjoy your xmas break from work.

Good morning CW. Sorry to hear you've been poorly again CW, don't seem to have got to the bottom of it :(
Hopefully you'll be ok for Christmas and be able to enjoy it.
    Good morning Kerri.
Picked my dad up from hospital yesterday as he'd had some tests. Gave him the all clear and probably identified the reason for the problem he had too! Phew, very relieved:D
    Take care guys:)

Good morning kerri and Jeferey and a very Happy Christmas to you both.

Glad your dad is ok Jeferey and they have identified the problems he was having. It must be such a relief that they know what was wrong. With me all the drs say it must be a virus but I am not so sure. Will go back to the drs after xmas.

Glad your doing your bit towards the xmas meals Jeferey,:) lots of fresh veggies for lunch is great. lol. Got sprouts etc from tesco for 39p, even cauli which is normally a lot dearer at this time of year.

Well pressies wrapped, cards sent, decs all up but still not painted the hall as the plaster still isn;t completely dry in places so tough, it will have to wait now.

Hope you and your families have a wonderful, peaceful, happpy Christmas and all the best for 2016.

Happy Christmas all (sorry I'm a little late) hope you all enjoyed the big event. We had a relaxing day with a lazy start and late dinner. DM just left with the promise I'll drop left overs over tomorrow.

jeferey great news about your dad, and well done on getting the veggies from your allotment...i did get my free range, bronze Turkey crown from Lidl with £1 off per kg which equated to a £6 saving so sounds like :money: all round (and I stopped myself buying pre made turkey gravy yesterday remembering I had stock in the freezer, so made my own for the first time ever...and it wasn't horrible :D)

Cw hope you're feeling better, and never mind about the decorating, call it 'rustic ambience' people in London pay thousands for walls like that :D I'd refer to it as 'rural hip' ;)

Well another Xmas clocked up, has felt odd this year, almost not like Xmas at all in a strange way, and really can't get my head around the fact it's 2016 next week :eek::eek:

Well I can't quite believe Christmas is over for another year!
We walked down to pub today and met everyone there for lunch. 10 of us had a great meal, don't think I'll eat again for a week lol :)
Going to seaside for the day Monday.
    Enjoy the weekend!
