    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

Hope you both had a good weekend.

The weather has improved slightly, the sky is blue today but its still cold of course so my heating is on, again.

Got to list a few things on ebay later, boring.

CW £150! that's outrageous - I would look at taking legal advise and tell them so. Have you managed to come up with any solution to the damaged paper yet?
Meant to say before, they weren't our trees being cut - it was a house that backs onto the path / parking in front of our house but it was easier for the tree surgeons to get to the trees from our side - makes quite a big difference actually though. Shame no one has done the massive hedge in the house that backs onto the side of ours - its as tall as the second story of our house - I hate it. I'm sure one day Jack Nicholson will pop out 'The Shining' styleee.

Chucking it down here now and very windy last night. We've got warnings for tomorrow too. After a very lazy weekend (ok yesterday's recovery was self inflicted) I dragged my bottom back to yoga tonight and really enjoyed it. It was a slower class concentrating on the posture and moving deeper into poses so whilst I didn't feel overly challenged exertion wise, it was good to work on some stuff that can be overlooked. Just what I needed to start the week off. Only problem now is whether I go to that one next week...or my normal lunch class...or both!

Good morning CW, Kerri and Red :D

Go on Kerri - do both!!!!

It was quite a pleasant day yesterday and then we got the great news that DD2 has got the job :j:j:j - don't know many details yet but induction is next Thursday evening. She should be able to earn a few pennies to make her student loan go further :) - DW had a great thought - she should get a staff discount at Sainsbobs - nice :D

£150 isn't a lot CW but at least it's something - it's up to you if you want to go through the hassle of taking it any further or putting it behind you and chalking it up to 'experience'....

FB was lovely, not even a month old, she's coming again soon :)

Our heating has been on low on and off for quite a while now (I'm walking round in shorts and t-shirt as usual :rotfl:) but I've turned down quite a few of the thermostatic radiator valves we had fitted a few years ago - seem to work well.

    Take care everyone.....

We did accept the £200 in total for the wardrobes, with all the problems over the last few months we really couldn;t face any more aggro tbh. Still got to try and sort bathroom people. All the hassles was really getting us down and we had nothing but headaches and stress. We reluctantly gave in just so we can move on.

The weather is bad here again, raining heavily and so cold.

Great news Jeferey re your DD getting the job. Hope you make good use of the staff discount. lol. Your FB sounds lovely, glad you and your dw are enjoying having her visit.

kerri - hope that tree doesn;t come down in the bad weather. We had a big laburnum fall down years ago, it was massive and even brought up some of the pavement. Can you ask them to cut it down a bit for safety reasons.

I'd have probably done the same CW.

Sunny and windy at the moment, supposed to rain at lunchtime - typical!

    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

We went to the shops yesterday and passed a few trees that had been brought down by the gales. One was massive the tree luckily had falled into the field behind it and the roots were higher than our car, it would have killed someone had it fallen the other way onto the road. Things have blown over in our garden but not seen any other damage. We had torrential rain at times yesterday but atm its dry but due to rain again later.

Stopping home today and doing some boring housework. lol. Might unpack another box back into the cupboards in my bedroom.

Good morning CW - sounds like you've had it a lot worse than us, hopefully things will calm down soon, going to be freezing at the weekend - might kill a few bugs! Sunny and windy here again and managed to dodge the rain yesterday :)

Evening All! Apologies for being absent yet again, with work really busy and yoga and everything else i've been too shattered to post - though have been keeping tabs on y'all.

CW Glad you have managed to reach a settlement about the wardrobes that you're ok with and at least you can move on and have it all sorted by xmas. Did you manage to sort anything for the edging?

Been really windy here the past few days, quiet now but supposed to pick up again at the weekend - baton down those hatches.

  • Good morning kerri and Jeferey

we had snow Friday evening but luckily it didn;t stick as it had rained and the ground was wet. Unfortunately it then froze over so we had a lot of ice yesterday but the council managed to grit the main roads.

Its so cold for November though so the heating is on almost all the time now, including overnight as the temp was due to drop to well below freezing.

Hope you enjoyed your FB visit again Jeferey, though not sure if you will get your bike ride in today as its really cold and keeps raining.

Kerri, for now I am ignoring the side of the wardrobes. Been obsessing over it too long so need to not think about it for a while.

Take care guys and wrap up warm when you go out.
