Busy weekend , moved DD1 out - hired a Ford Transit LWB high roof panel van and did a few trips to get all their stuff to the house - knackered - slept well Saturday night!

Good morning kerri and Jeferey

Had a busy day Sunday wrapping some ebay parcels and then relisting the unsold stuff. Want to list a few more bits today as we are trying to empty more stuff out of the loft. We have been terrible hoarders and buy stuff and then change our mind so put it in the loft, just in case we ever use it. So we want rid of some of it now.

Sounds like you both have had a busy weekend as well. Hope your DD is happy in her new home Jeferey, now you will have to keep her supplied in fruit and veggies as well.

Hope you got your trees sorted kerri. My ds cut down a few trees in out garden a while ago, they were so overgrown and blocked the light to the dining room as they were just too close to the house. It took days and days to cut them down and then digging out the roots. But glad there gone now.

The decorator is due today or tomorrow to paint the ceiling etc so more mess to come, but don;t have a choice.

At least the rain has stopped for a while, it really threw it down the last few days so much my back garden flooded again. But we are due more rain today and tomorrow.

Had to get 3 new keys cut for the new front door this lunchtime, it was £6 for one but £12.50 for the three - no tooo bad!

DD2 coming home with me tonight from Uni as she has a weekend job interview on Friday. She really wants a job to supplement her student loan.

Cold, wet and miserable today and we are on a weather warning to get gales later. I am not gonna go out today, will stop home and keep warm and dry. lol.


Been poorly last few days, woke up at 2.15 am on Wednesday boiling hot and dizzy and started throwing up. Woke everyone up so no one got any sleep. My dh wanted to phone the dr out as I was so ill but I didn;t let him and it is clearing up now. Feel a bit better today anyway and I know the dr would just say you have a virus.

Hope everyone else is well.

Good luck to your DD2 for her interview today, hope she gets the job Jeferey.

afternoon all,, sorry I've been AWOL again, busy time at work. In fact I've been shattered this week and didn't get out of my pit until gone 11am today. Done naff all except clean up the kitchen and sit on my bum since then, and don't feel a bit bad about it.

cw hope you're feeling better, I expect the stress of the wardrobes isn't helping. What's the latest on that, I'm so cross about it on your behalf :mad:

jefery sounds like you have your hands full today, fingers crossed for DD2 job.

Chucking it down here today, proper winte weather and decidely colder than it has been so heating on too (weekend treat)

Sounds lovely to be pushing a pram again Jeferey, long time since I did that. Hope your DD gets good news, interviews are so hard these days.

kerri, the wardrobe people have offered £100 but I rejected that and they have made a final offer of £150 plus the £50 for the decorator (thats all he charged me). Still not a lot considering the mess they left for us to clear up. Not accepted it yet, got to get back to them tomorrow.

Don't feel guilty about having a break kerri, you have been ran off your feet with work so a little "me" time is long over due.

Jeferey - hope your sniffles clear up quickly. Don;t want it getting any worse in this damp weather.

We have had terrible gales the last few days, almost constant rain, hail and wind, so my heating has been on a lot. I hate this kind of weather and still not quite over whatever bug it was I had a few days ago.

So take care guys and stop home and write your xmas cards, its only a few weeks to xmas. lol.
