CW I 'might' have tested one of the buns warm but most were snaffled today - and very well received they were too. Few left so might leave those for OH to take to work.

Once I make a few refinements to the enriched dough i'm going to do some variations of finger buns with cream and jam, cinnamon buns and Belgian buns too.

Gorgeous sunny day here today, apparently its going to be 20 degrees tomorrow!

Oh and the log roll I ordered on Monday evening arrived (unexpectedly) today - talk about quick service - used https://www.ukgardensupplies.co.uk - very impressed with the speed, and packing.

It was lovely here yesterday too, warm and sunny and today looks like it will be just the same if a bit warmer. Might get a bit of tidying in the garden done later too. Have a good day guys

Weath today seemed mixed, chilly and overcast this morning, put a wash out, then it rained so had to bring it in (car now covered in dust) then warm and sunny this afternoon. Not that I saw much from my home office anyway.

Long day at work, didn't finish until 7.30 - whoever said working from home was a doss obv never has.

Glad it's the weekend, planning a car boot on Sunday, not expecting to make a lot but would be nice to get rid of some accumulated crud.

Good morning kerri and anyone else who pops in.

What a change in the weather, it was sunny yesterday, dried 4 loads of washing but today is soooo different. Its cloudy, cold, raining and breezy. So different.

Got to go shopping in a bit as well.

Might be too wet tomorrow for a car boot kerri.

Still sunny here today CW a little breezier but I still felt a bit overdressed in UGGs. Forecast is the same for us tomorrow so fingers crossed. Think we had some rain overnight but soon dried up.

Have brought my little propagators with my runner bean seeds in though as it might get chilly overnight.

Pretty chilled out day, was out doing some shopping, food and clothes, although I feel like I've been warped back to the 90's with all the midriff tops and handkerchief hems about. Wouldn't mind but it discounts a lot of clothes for me, I mean, I did the midriff the first time round and feel just a bit too old to be doing it again :(

Good morning kerri (and anyone else)

Cooler here yesterday though the rain stopped mid morning. Today its grey skies and a bit damp and we are due rain later.

I am more the t shirt and jeans type, not the handkercheif hems, shows you how fashions change and oldies make a come back. lol.
t shirt and jeans never go out of fashion, luckily. lol.

Morning CW hate to say it but although it was blustery here yesterday, it was still sunny and quite warm out of the wind. Did the car boot, we made about £80 between us which wasn't too bad considering what we were selling. Was even warm enough to go to a friends BBQ afterwards.

Fingers crossed you get some of the nice weather this week x

Afternoon all, been busy! We all went to Edinburgh for a few days last week. Had a great time, lovely weather. Loved the train journey up, managed to get the return trip for the five of us for just over £100 using railcards and booking well in advance.
Hotel was paid for by Tesco Clubcard. Tesco CC also paid for 8 dishes (2 meals) at Pizza Express courtesy of the flash sale they had a bit back and then I got us on the Scottish Whisky Experience for £15 of Tesco CC's that I'd quadrupled. I did the gold experience so got some extra drams at the end in the bar .
When we got back looked out and we have grass :j, the seed is growing :D. I gave the remaining grass it's second cut of the year.
I've been up the allotment too, putting in early potatoes and preparing for the growing season - lots to do....

We had some strong winds over the weekend. Hope it warms up for you CW and sounds like you've been busy too Kerri!
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
