Err, simple answer to a full marathon is....NO! I cannot imagine that what I did on Sunday would only have been the 1/2 way point. I have a new level of respect not only for those who run a full marathon, but the amount of time / effort / dedication you have to put into training for it.

Btw, I also read that Jeferey borrowed a ton of topsoil :rotfl:

Woke up to a wintry day, frost and the pond is a bit frozen but its just started to rain. Just when you think the weather is improving it proves you wrong. So wrap up warm when you go out. I am going to stay home today, I don;t fancy getting soaking wet. lol.

yesterday was blowing a gale, and the neighbours bins blew over and all their recycling went in my garden, they didn;t bother to pick it up and most of it blew down the street. Things were banging around it was so noisy. Seems a bit calmer today but so cold.

Hey CW sorry, been another hectic one here. Work busy as usual, but I did have ONE whole day off on wed where I was at a spa as a gift from my brother. Very relaxing it was too. Fri night myself and OH weee out for dinner, courtesy of another gift. Still spent a fortune on taxis (I wasn't driving and my suggestion OH could was met with s confused expression lol) then adding in a bottle of wine and a few beers meant I was feeling more than a tad delicate yesterday. Went out with OH for a while. I came home whilst he stayed out, which has also meant that our planned trip shopping this weekend hasn't happened. I've been putting together flat packed furnitrue today instead but now need OH to help lift it. Washing was put drying nicely too in the wind....until the heavens opened!
Hope everyone else is enjoying the weekend and remembered the clocks changed.

Good morning kerri and anyone else around.

It rained all weekend really here, so badly my pond has overflowed and flooded the bottom of the garden. Next doors garden flooded before mine and the water still hasn;t drained off. My flooding has drained luckily. Its sunny now but for how long is anyones guess.

Sick of having to dry washing indoors as well.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Hectic here too!
Thursday I drove DW and FIL nearly 100 miles each way to a funeral of one of the DAIL's .
DW and I had to go on a training course all day Saturday for fostering. Yesterday was taken up with sowing seeds, potting on tomatoes and visits to parents.
Back to work for 4 days then off for 10
Sounds like you had it a lot wetter than us CW :eek: at least the flooding has gone!

Wow, what a night! Gale force winds, gusts over 60mph, stuff blown all over the place. At least the rain has stopped now.
This morning's drive to work was interesting, glad my car is quite heavy!
