Speaking of stashes, another bottle of surf out of the shed today.
Finished putting the sleeper in the bed to replace rotten log roll, hope this lasts longer, put some sand down to help drainage. Looks nice and ties the patio together. Got a cold chisel from screw fix to remove the mortar that was in the way, expected a pain of a job and at least one chipped brick....OH had it all done in three blows lol.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Wow - that was good Kerri - you must have a strong OH!
I agree with Jeferey that the savings have been the best part although I must say I do get comments from all the family about my overflow stock in the spare bedroom cupboard. Mind you, they aren't averse to the odd gift of stuff!!
I had a great time on Friday at the golf club dinner - lovely meal, great company, some truly "groan" type jokes but I went home with a box of chocolates and an enormous bunch of flowers.0 -
Good morning guys
Kerri - I know what you mean about the stash sometimes getting on your nerves. Sometimes you have so much you can;t find things, it can get dusty, things burst open, but would I get rid of my stash, no chance. I have about a years supply of toilet roll and kitchen towels in the loft. Only just finished my domestos mountain that lasted about 4-5 years. Got about 2 years supply of laundry liquid/ariel tabs/soap powder. Got at least a few years of shampoo/conditioner stashed.
I think we all have to squeeze things in places and that can get difficult as it can take over the house. What we all need is a separate room complete with shelves and storage boxes that we can fill to our hearts content. I wish.....lol.

Really pleased you and your dh had a great time at the golf club dinner despite the "jokes". You both deserved a good night and to go home with choccies and flowers is a bonus.:)

Morning all- Spent a good chunk of yesterday digging the foundations for my new greenhouse. My retired neighbour helped and offered to do some more today - excellent!

I still kick myself I missed the DTD days. Still getting through the Palmolive hand wash, surf, comfort and have some cleaning bits from the Sada glitch and vouchers (was it unilever?) most of mine is in the shed, else in the loft where it gets bought down in batches to go under the spare bed before use.Shhhh - don't tell anyone :rotfl:

Morning guys
my ds has informed me I have about 50 soft and gentle deo's in the garage, together with about 3 dozen lynx shower gels, about 3 dozen packets of kleenex tissues from the good old huggies boxes days. Also about 50 bottles of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. He aso said there are dozens of bottles of different cleaning stuff too. We have big storage crates with lids on in the garage on shelving so all nice and tidy in there.
We need lids on as otherwise the mice would eat the stuff as we have mad mice around here with our garden backing onto a farm. My dh put a spare bike seat in a rucksack on the shelf and mice got in and ate the foam seat, stripped it bare, just a metal frame left in the bag.
Take care all and wrap up well, its another cold day out there.

He;ll start by saying can I just put a few tomato plants in there and offering to water your plants while your at work. :rotfl::rotfl:
Still, it was nice of him to help though.
