Good morning guys
Hope you all have a great weekend

Wow CW! Our domestos went ages ago - we've got 3 toilets :rotfl:
I've still got some Dove for Men Shower Gel and some Lynx up the loft and I found some more rinse aid up there. I've also got a load of Airwick sprays left.
I found some condensed campbells soup the other day (out of date) - still ok? Who knows!
Our Comfort is long gone too Kerri.
Ahhh - those were the days
Morning everyone
Morning Jeferey
I still have some of the Lynx and Rinse Aid as well. All the Campbells soups have gone but have 2 tins of 5 Beans left still. My son said there is a bottle of comfort in the garage as well.
Yep, those were the days.:):)

I can confirm the Campbell's soup is fine
One tin of 5 beanz left, kinda don't want to use it lol.
Still got some surf from last year, and bargain cleaning bits, incl one can of cif mousse as it doesn't really clean that well IMO (live in a hard water area so everything really needs a scrub but it's ok for a quick freshen up). Oh those were the days.
I think the tin of Campbells soup would be fine too. As long as the tin is undamaged there shouldn;t be a problem.
I have some of last years cleaning glitch left too. Some of the cif sprays, disinfectant, and some viakal and some mould removers.
They were great glitches, not been doing any glitching for ages as trying to run everything down.

I can't even remember the last time I went for a glitch, since a lidl has opened locally I've done most of my shopping there, barely go over to asda now. We've had a new tesco open locally too, not an extra but bigger than our pants metro. Deff noticed the diff in my grocery bill shopping at lidl, I suspect part is price (althoguh there are some things that seem to cost a little more than basics ranges) and part is that the ranges are more limited so I end up picking up fewer extras on the way round. Oddly doing a couple of smaller shops makes me plan a bit better too, I can look at what I have already and pick up what I need to go with it rather than trying to do a massive shop once a month.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

There was I thinking I was the only one with "old" stock! I still have a number of the Heinz5 beans - probably because I prefer ordinary baked beans.
The Campbells soup is OK when it is out of date but I found it has slightly separated when you open it so needs a good stir.
I have bottles of Comfort and really need to find a home for them as I hardly use softener since I bought a new washing machine. Will have to pass them on to our local Open House to give away.
We had an Aldi open about 18 months ago and I certainly do a good part of my shopping there. Only problem is the car park is really too small for the increase in the customers but unfortunately no room to expand it.
It's interesting how more people are doing smaller shops - it certainly can save money as long as you have the time.0 -

Our lidl has a small car park but people don't tend to stay too long. There's a bigger car park across the road which often has space and so far they haven't started ticketing people popping over to lidl. I can pop in on the way home from work, or lunchtime of needed and it's only a 5min drive from home so Prob takes less time popping in more frequently than driving further and queueing longer for a big shop.
Have to be careful with my shopping now, just got our xmas Turkey and had to play a considerable amount of freezer Tetris. Means I need to plan meals careful and lay off the YS things for a bit.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Kerri I would have loved to see you playing freezer Tetris - never thought of calling it that!
I'm lucky as don't have to cook Christmas Day as invited to granddaughters - luxury. The only problem is you don't have cold stuff for Boxing Day and I do miss the cold turkey.0 -

Well i now have some bits of roast chicken defrosting to make a kind of gunbo tomorrow, and a couple of packs of burgers & mince were duely relieved from their packaging and rehomed in freezer bags. I could've done this for some more things, but sadly I quite like the neatness of the plastic packaging versus freezer bags (note to self; get out more :rotfl:) this is a turkey crown to feed about 8, and we have 2-3 meat eaters for xmas this year - LOTS of leftovers here, but i usually send my mum home with some and work my way through the rest. Reckon the leftovers are often better than the actual xmas dinner after all the faff / stress of cooking for everyone I get to pick cold cuts at my leisure.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning guys
Hope your all well and having a great weekend.
Its free listing on ebay if you want to get rid of your junk, sorry treasures. lol.

Where I live we are surrounded by supermarkets.
There are a couple of all of these shops Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons, Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys, Co-op all within a 5-10 minute drive from here. Its so easy to get carried away shopping. For the last few months I have really cut down on how often I shop as I kept over buying and ended up with a kitchen piled up with stuff and my freezer was so crammed only the things at the top were getting used.
Now I want to defrost the freezer before xmas I have to make sure most of the meals use things from the freezer or I will have no room for the xmas turkey etc.
