Kerri, sorry your wardrobe got scuffed and it looks better with a bit of pain on it. They should have been more careful with it once it was sold, or at least told you in case you wanted to change your mind.

I actually wonder if it was scuffed already, they had two and I think they have kept one which is the one they photographed for the auction (different inside layout) - bit cheeky really but we got a good buy and they were really close for collection - no way I could've driven much distance with it all hanging out the back of the car  annoying though, like you say, they should've highlighted it.

Kerri hope you are feeling better by the end of the day - another advantage of being retired that you don't have to go to work when really you just want to have a sleep.

All i can say is...roll on tomorrow evening :) Shattered.

Got some more of my xmas shopping done today. Now its mainly OH and some home baked goods to do - which obv I can't do yet :)

Shame about the scuff Kerri but at least it was still a good buy.
I actually bought a book on eBay, first time for a while but it was cheaper than Amazon and I couldn't find it in any charity shop :rotfl:. It's the first one of a series I've got into and it was only £2 :)

Foggy for second day running in Sheffield. FIL dropped DD2 off at train station this morning to go to another Uni Interview and the blinking train was cancelled due to an incident near Doncaster. Luckily I heard it on the radio, did a quick google at work and told her a new route on an earlier train via Sheffield - phew! Picking her up this afternoon - only 98 miles away  but train ticket back was £63 but it'll only cost me about £15 in diesel and OH wants to have a look where DD2 fancies going so it's a bit of a jolly really!

I need to get a xmas pressie(s) for OH and something for FD for OH - ideas for surprises?

    Morning everyone :D

I'm the same about OH Jeferey - no idea what to get. What kind of things do you usually get or is your OH interested in? (no a greenhouse heater does not count lol!)

Grey here today too but not too chilly, really feels like the run up to xmas now, off to meet cousin in London tomorrow with her kids and see the lights - can't wait!

    Morning guys

A grey wet day here and so cold, the heatings on but not warmed up the house much just yet.

Jeferey - is your FD into Frozen, it seems to be in the in thing for girls this year so a Frozen doll maybe and a Frozen dvd or something else in that line.

And for your OH a nice bracelet maybe do the trick.

I have got my dh a few cd's, couple of books on sport, and a few dvd's as well.

Spent yesterday in London with my cousin and her kids, took them to Hamleys and to see the lights on Oxford street. Heaving but that was to be expected. Having a bit of a trauma with the wardrobe, got it half done, went to move it and half the screws ripped out and damaged the mdf. Really annoyed. After a strop by me I think it is salvageable with some additional wood glue. Luckily the damage will be on the inside but a bit fed up about the whole thing. Sorry for the grump.

What a nuisance that wardrobe has been from day 1. :( Hope things get sorted or you are going to regret buying it.

Yeah, hope you get it sorted Kerri. It's something from FD to buy for OH - I don't think OH would be too happy with a Frozen DVD or something :rotfl::)
I remember our last trip to Hamley's while in London one Easter - heaving like you say and it was too hot for me, had to wait ages in a queue to get FD a Build-a-bear.

A bracelet, that sounds good CW - can't beat jewellery I suppose :D I've done earrings, a watch, necklaces in the past.

    Morning everyone :D

Thanks guys, feel I always manage to turn something that should be straightforward into a nightmare.

Still, on a happier note, had a fab time at Winter Wonderland today. Not too busy at all, and even got a fast train home. Warming up with a hot water bottle now, was decidely winters feeling, added to the atmosphere but..brrrrrrr
