My ds is happier today, was really annoyed as his computer broke. He spent hours messing with wires undoing things and re fastening bits and testing the motherboard, etc. He spend hours online on another computer trying to figure out why the computer came on but nothing came on screen.
You know what it was in the end. A flipping battery. A little battery like a watch battery was faulty. He took it out looked at it and put it back in again and it worked. We had computer bits everywhere as he took parts out of my computer and our other computer, now he has to spend all day putting everything back together.
Stupid computer

Bet your DD1 loves her new car Jeferey, she is gonna be out and about all the time in it. That insurance quote sounds good too and the low road tax is even better.
And even better you won;t have to keep running her around now so more time to spend at the allotment/garden etc. lol.

Afternoon all.
No comment today CW? - is your computer still in pieces round the house!
Jeferey = makes life so much easier once the kids don't need a taxi service - don't suppose the need for "cash support" will end though!
Just had a lovely email from Waitrose - I have won their prize of a year's dog food worth £600. I don't have a dog now but my granddaughter's dog will have a good Christmas & they will have some unexpected cash to spend.0 -
Good morning guys
I was busy yesterday but the computer is now fixed. My son also ordered a wire off ebay and he fitted it yesterday so all is well again.
Wow, nice prize red, and a nice suprise for your grandaughter too.

Good morning guys
A wet day for us here. Yesterday was really cold but was quite bright, my ds and dh did a bit of tidying up in the garden.
Really annoyed with an ebay buyer. Opened an item not received dispute and 2 minutes later closed it. She had the parcel and forgot......... forgot her neighbour signed for it and gave it to her..............now got to wait and see if I get a defect which I will have to spend ages appealing.

Evening all - been away for a few days visiting OH family north of the boarder.
CW - glad the thieves didn't get anything, scary but could've been a lot worse. the amount of carp down our side path at the moment we'd prob get sued for a potential burglar breaking a leg down there!
Feeling shattered today, flight was delayed last night, straight back into work today and then collecting a wardrobe from fleabay tonight. Looks nice and was from someone just round the corner, only annoying but is it looks like they have scuffed one of the doors taking it apart, and its on white gloss. Hopefully be able to get a small pot of enamel paint to sort it but its going to bug me for a bit.

Good morning everyone.
What a miserable looking day it is. Grey and damp as well as cold. Been raining overnight but stopped atm.
Don;t forget its the last day of free listing on ebay.
Kerri, sorry your wardrobe got scuffed and it looks better with a bit of pain on it. They should have been more careful with it once it was sold, or at least told you in case you wanted to change your mind.
Btw, Christmas is 4 weeks today. I got a xmas card off a friend last week so must get on writing mine.

Morning all.
Looks as though we have the better weather today with winter sunshine although still damp. Yesterday made me feel really miserable as it didn't stop raining and was so dark all day.
Kerri hope you are feeling better by the end of the day - another advantage of being retired that you don't have to go to work when really you just want to have a sleep.
Off to buy the Mirror this morning for the £10 off £50 voucher. Now just need to work out the quietest time to shop there!!0
