Morning Jeferey & anyone else who is looking in on this miserable morning - wet and windy here in "sunny" Sussex.
Our shed arrived last week but we haven't got round to moving everything from the garage back into it yet. Luckily DH put on preservative before all this rain arrived - can't believe our 2 water butts are both full again so quickly.

I'm hoping to order a new greenhouse soon. I got my current old one for nothing off someone at work but it's probably time to splash out

Not feeling to great as got a cold and sore throat, caught it off my son as he has had it for nearly a week now.

The weather is so cold and damp its no suprise that we have caught something. Its raining today but the sun keeps trying to break through. Heating on so keeping warm and dry today.

Sorry to hear you are still poorly CW -not a good sign before winter really comes.
I've been to a specialist clinic this morning as been having a problem with my knee since July (been waiting since August). It was just getting better when it flared up again when we were away at the end of September. It now looks as though I have a torn meniscus & am to have an MRI to check. If so, it will be surgery. I am finding it hard as at the moment I can't drive far which is a real nuisance. My bowls season starts tonight & I am going to try & play as no-one else in my team is able to take my place. Just hope the knee doesn't collapse but at least my DH is taking me. Oh the joys of getting old!!

This cold weather is making my cold and sore throat worse. My ds is no better either, he gave it to me as he caught it first and no sign of it going.

Red sorry to hear about your kneee problems. Glad the docs are checking it out and not just ignoring it though as it does sound as though it needs treatment doesn;t it. Did you manage to play bowls last night, just hope it doesn;t place a strain on the knee and make it worse.

Take care all and wrap up warm if you go out.

Hi everyone. Sorry to hear your cold isn't improving CW. Try to take it easy & keep having plenty of fluids.
Got through my game OK last night but knee has been aching today. In a way I am glad I was forced to play as I now know that the knee seems to be able to support me but I think I'll have to monitor how often I play in a week.
Watery sun has come out here now but it has been raining stair-rods during the morning.

FB slept well again last night - she's going home at teatime. Had a lovely weekend so far with her. Went to get rest of pumpkins yesterday, will be carving one with her today so she can take it home.

Brrrr, definite chill in the air now. Boiler broke on us last week but fixed now thank goodness. Sure we were swizzed over the cost of the part but when you have no heating or hot water you hardly feel like saying 'I'll get it myself online, come back in a week to fit it.'

still bogged down with this cold and chesty cough etc. Not really with it as my head is so bunged up. Good job I had a little stash of boxes of tissues are my son and i are really going through them fast.
