Good morning guys

another cold, raining, miserable day here. I am still very chesty with my cough but slowly getting better.

Don't forget clocks go back this weekend.

What a shame that someone died. The wind caused havoc everywhere but luckily we only had bins blown over and the rubbish blew down the street.

Years ago, not long after we bought this house, a tree blew down in my front garden. It was a big old laburnum and I looked out the window and told my dh that the tree looked like it was swaying. 10 minutes later it fell down. We were lucky it fell onto the garden so didn't hurt or damage anything, had it fell any other way it would have fell on my car or the road.

Just spent another 90 minutes in the dentist's chair having my root canal work finished. Hope I don't have to have another tooth done any time soon!


Glad the strong winds have gone but it's so gloomy here at the moment.

Thanks Red, getting better slowly, still got a bad chesty cough and the damp isn;t helping. Sounds like torture at the dentist, hope you don't need any more work any time soon.

Bet you have better weather that us.:) My son just told me it looks a bit frosty on our garage roof this morning.
