Good morning guys

Sorry to year you are still unwell cw
Was up early for a run today, then spent about 5 hrs in the garden pulled up my toms, dug up a load of ivy, moved one bit of it and planted up three heathers in the bed instead. Mowed the front lawn and raked it, and then scrubbed the patio. Really feels like getting the garden ready for hibernating in winter now, but was a glorious sunny day today. Also found while cleaning the patio that my wellies have a split...and found whilst typing wellies, you have to be very careful of autocorrect!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thanks Kerri but where on earth did you get the energy to do that lot.:)
Your garden must be spotless and tidy now after that clean up. Mine needs doing but coughing is worse when doing anything so it will have to wait a while.

Goods news on the chest infection CW, hope the cough follows swiftly!
Well done Kerri- I did a similar job, I cut back all the clematis and passion flower on the back fence and chopped back the vine on the fence on the right. I also cut down half of my tomato plants in the greenhouse but there's still some black tomatoes and cucumbers growing so left those.
Went to allotment too and got the last pumpkin, some rainbow chard, 2 leeks, 4 butternut squashes, 2 beetroots and the last of the french beans, balmoral squashes and courgettes. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Good morning everyone
Well we are now being battered by gales, everything is being blown around and the garden is a bit of a mess with leaves etc all over.
Glad you got your allotment sorted Jeferey, quite a veggie haul there.

Thanks CW - we had some in a casserole last night.
We've just had torrential rain in Sheffield then sun then rain - weird!

Still plenty to do in it cw, I'm clearly just not very good at sitting down for long.
Glad you're starting to feel a bit better.
Blowing a gale here today too, got a load of washing out and virtually dry before the rain came on. Wind is doing it's best to tear a clematis off the fence and had broken the trellis it's growing on.
Very envious of your veg haul Jeferey, though having just battled my way into a butternut squash to roast, I'm not sure I could be bothered with four more :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning guys
The wind seems to have died down a bit today luckily. It was awful yesterday, bins getting blown over etc. Hope no one was hurt.

Quite a nice day today by all accounts. Did you see someone was killed by a falling tree in London yesterday. I think another person is critical. Guess it shows you never know whats round the corner. I remember years ago my cousin was walking home from school in high winds and a policeman pushed her out the way of a concrete roof tile falling. Scary stuff.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
