  • I have been contacted by this company recently regarding a £3,787.72 debt...which I believe is when 4 years or something ago..i had a car insurance policy with Kwik Fit..but because I cancelled the policy early because I could not afford the payments! even by informing them that I want to cancel.

After some time with no conversation with Kwik fit themselves, I had the infamous Arc Europe LTD sending letters and phone calls which can only be described as rude and unprofessional...I ignored this for over 2 years...then Arc Ltd's evil sister Hellix has started asking for money with a doorstep recovery division letter stating I will be contacted by them and offering discount on the sum..lol
Which I do not owe!! and now the client mentioned in the letter is Green motor insurance..and I don't recall having a policy with them at all!!
After reading all the posts it seems there is a way out!

NJ777......I have found with Hellilx they are a bunch of scammers claiming debts they seem to create.

I found them to be very rude and abusive....but since I sent them letters and refused to accept a debt that wasn't mine and was so old even the old catalogue company themselves were no longer persuing this. And I rang many times the catalogue people and discovered that Hellix was claiming for themselves....not for any catalogue at all.

So be very careful with them...on the site there is many helpful letters and links...try some of those....demanding they prove this fianance does come down to you.

It's amazing how they make up a lot of lies....and threaten you with letters...but stay strong and demand by letter to them that they send details to prove it is you.

As I say there is lots of helpful people on here showing amazing letters you may be able to use.

Hope it helps and good luck.:)

    Hi Weller711,
Thank you very much for your advice. I am so glad there are helpful people like yourself out there to offer support at an emotionally stressful time. I have sent CapQuest a letter requesting a signed credit agreement and a full statement of my account. This recorded delivery letter was sent two weeks ago, but I am still waiting for the (non-existent) documents. They deliberately ignore any evidence I have so far sent them and request proof of payment, which of course I don't have because it is not my debt in the first place. I have never acknowledged this debt because it I was a victim of identity theft four years ago. It will be interesting to see what they will resort to next in order to harrass me.

    Hello there.

I have had the same problem with CapQuest, they keep harassing me as well, i was burgled and my identity was stolen and they run up debts, I sent a copy of the letter below about 2 years ago and CapQuest just ignores it, they also call and ask for my address and i refuse to give it, I have asked the police what i should do now and they said if they ever come round your house do not open the door and call them ( the police ) and they would come round. So i suggest if the above company does turn up on anyones door and you have sent all the appropriate letters off to them proving that it is not your debt, call the police and sue them for Harassment and stress .

Do not worry at all about either of these two companies.
    DON'T PAY THEM A PENNY

It's also worth noting that consumer credit licences are changing in 2014 and many of these companies will withdraw from the market.

Hellix Limited is directed by an unpleasant individual called MICHAEL MCEVOY they are based on a farm in Wiltshire and the person you spoke to on the phone is more than likely MICHAEL MCEVOY although he will tell you his name is some other made up name.

Quote**The combined cash at bank value for all of Michael's current businesses is £1,097, with a combined assets value of £1,897 and liabilities of £13,985. Roles associated with Michael McEvoy within the recorded businesses include: Director**

You can find out more info by searching the text below on Google

    "companycheck /director/916479082"

    and here:

    "companiesintheuk /director/6945761/michael-mcevoy"

Both companies acquire or procure 'aged /dead' debts from the likes of Kwik Fit insurance, banks and others, and attempt to revive them for their own profit even though they do not hold the original title or contract to the debt. This is not illegal but it's fair to say the type of people who make a living from his type of business are at best...'Financial Sharks'

Just ignore their phishing correspondence if they continue to harass you by phone or threaten to send people to your door without a court order they are committing a criminal offence

more info on their legal obligations can be found here:

    "dealingwithbailiffs /Bailiffs-and-Consumer-credit-licensing-complaints"

I hope you have found this extended information on these individuals useful.
