Just a quick post (it never is) to say Grannynise, I hope you didn't think we were being mean too.
No I thought you were all as lovely as always. I wouldn't mistake a bit of good natured teasing for meanness.
Have had DGD all day today so flying has been the last thing on my mind. We've been to see the ducks, hidden behind trees and played peepbo, and just had a lovely time. Then I sat in the garden. Oh well, tomorrow is another flying day.
Anw'smum .... you are just the most amazing lady. The service sounds fantastic. What a positive experience you've provided for your children's memories.0 -
flowering grass - yes we have that too!
DH came in from taking the compost out earlier and said he was ashamed as our grass is at least 2x higher than nextdoors, and they have been away for the past fortnight. Reminds me of when we had only lived here a month, i bumped into our next door neighbour who kindly offered to lend me his lawn mower as he assumed as we had been there that long without cutting it we must not have one. :rotfl: I noticed we had saplings taller than me that we haven't planted growing in our borders. (in my defence they are behind a shrub that is almost as tall as me.
We really let the neighbours down with our garden.
You lot have got me wanting chocolate again. As i can't get to the shop, i may have to make some cornflake cakes this evening.
About to make myself something to eat. Likely to be something easy like something on toast as DH is still out, and i really can't be faffed with doing washing up afterwards.
Charlie's still awake as his room is so blooming hot, (25 degrees according to the baby monitor) so i don't want to get too involved in doing anything in case i disturb him and make him want to get back up. I can quite happily sit on the sofa for a bit longer.
Anyway, i have a rumbly tummy, and i'd best get some bacon out the freezer for breakie tomorrow, as we have run out of weetabix. Didn't manage to get to the shop either unfortunately.
Bye for now, will probably nip back in later cos i really am that bored already.

Anw'smum the service sounded lovely

Decided to take the kids for a walk over the fields to feed the ducks what a mistake kids loved it i suffered terrible - hay fever, eyes were so sore and swollen not been outside since.
Made 2 quiches today not made any for ages.Gave everywhere a hoover ,washed dishes and thats all i'v done just going to sort some washing out.0 -
Hello! Hugs to all hayfever suffers, DH is all puffy and runny nosed today. Change of plan today, DH came home at 10.30, IL's picked up dogs and we decided to spend a real family day together. Went for some lunch, was really proud of baby as he sat in highchair very happy, played and of course he wanted our lunch so bits of bread kept him happy. As we were leaving some old ladies said how well behaved his was and that made my day, DH wouldn't even go into a cafe with him at one time incase he distrubed other people and he'd be embrassed so them saying that made my day. We then went to a few garden centres (but brought nothing - not a bad thing!) and then to a local tourist place so had ice cream, fed the ducks and just had a nice time. Been beautiful weather here, been good to get DS in shorts to air his legs as hes skins terrible again. Then shared a bath with DS before he went to bed. Lovely.
DS has found he can stand now by himself holding onto something so have spent 2 hours getting ready to catch him and daren't look away for a second while he stands against the sofa and coffee table incase he falls and then him having a huge paddy if we sit him down. Hope he forgets this new skill tomorrow:rotfl:
Managed to have the usual S&S this morning and have hoovered and I nipped to Aldi for a few fresh bits last off so a bit of flying done.
Tomorrow we've got to go and order DH new car for work so that will be boring, at least he knows what he wants, just got to try and see if Sams seat will fit in his car as he wants to part ex it but its stupid and small so might not get the baby seat in.
DustyKitten Hugs, hope things get better,:p back at you!
Lil me have a fabbie time, my dogs see the suitcase and panick, have taken to packing everything onto the spare bed and then getting suitcases out when they've left as they just get worked up at the sight of them, funny how they know. With yours and the vets cards, when we pull into the vets they go nuts, how can they know this things. Much clever than we realise
Grannywise sounds my kind of day
Hollyh well done on the list
Right, will toddle off, going to watch a flim soon but DH is asleep as he got up with baby at 5.30 so might leave him and mess about on here, might have to nibble something in the kitchen now after all this talk of Magnums!Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Oh yes.. we have grass with flowers too.. and a privet!!! *shame*.. my excuse.. the garden is hubby's domain.. like all the bits I want nothing to do with.. that leaves the pc chair and the space round the kettle to make a cuppa *grin*

I think I'm going to have to start Ebay-ing, I've never sold before and only bought once. I'm just looking at how much you've cleared of your debt, Pigpen, and while I've stopped overspending I'm not making money to pay mine off faster. Think I'll get my SIL to give me a lesson.
Got more stuff done tonight than I planned, mostly 'cos there's no good TV tonight (watched Doctor Who with some ironing. Me I mean, not Dr who) did some paperwork, tidied the kitchen, swept the side path, ate 2 more Magnums, ahem.. I'll be glad when they're finished, same reason I daren't buy bikkies!
Have a good evening all, I'm switching off to go and read and probably fall asleep. Sooo looking forward to a lie-in tomorrow, feels like weeks since I last had one.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

I'm going to finish off on here for the night cos i'm shattered, so i am going to have a bath, and then perhaps just sit watching telly till DH gets in. I don't think he'll be too late. Also need to rescue jeans from TD cos the pockets were still wet after being on the line, and also hang up a load of Charlie's stuff on the airers

Evening all feeling more human now so the flood must be imminent.
Spent the evening in the garden once DS3 was in bed - out the front where his bedroom window is as i am even more paranoid after the awful Madeline affair.
I was doing more prunning - always good for PMT when DS2 and DS1 came out and said to me we can hear bats look at them in the sky. Well they know I am scared of bats so I told them to stop winding me up. They kept clutching their ears saying they are screeching. Still did not beleive them so DS1 went and got OH's bat detector and they were telling the truth! They told me I can't hear them because I'm old!
Traceyg Poor DS3 has got a bit of hayfever - none of the rest of us get it and his legs are bad too - itchy and scaley behind the knees and on his calves. He is fine until a bad pollen day and then starts scratching and gets really dry skin around his eyes which flakes and makes them sore.
Right need to finish kitchen, put wash on. Have changed our bed but don't think I'll put the duvet in the cover it is too hot.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
