I wonder if he'd be shocked if he got there without any clothes at all  or dirty ones, sooooo tempting!

Now that is a tempting idea! It reminds me of th story my Nana used to tell of my grandpa. He was a huge cycling enthusuiast, would go twice a week 100+ miles each time and of course Nana would make pack up for him. Always asked what he wanted. One day he said anything, a couple of brillo pads will do........... yep you guessed it, he had brillo pad sarnies! :rotfl:  :rotfl:

But like the saying goes we can't live with 'em, can't live without ;) men and the kids certainly make sure life is never boring.

Re hayfever michelle, I know exactly how you feel, I am sniffing and rubbing my eyes as well. Taken a tablet which has taken the edge off but 5 mins in the garden filling the paddling pool is enough for me.

I think I might take a walk to Iceland and get some icelollies, which is all lil_me's fault for mentioning magnums :p

I've got a freezer half full of them, it's DPs fault he's addicted to them and someone said they were on offer in Tescos on BOGOF few weeks ago, so he bought 26 boxes :rotfl: emptied the freezer they were in, well apart from one left (wasn't a bogof then) so that's 78 Magnums lol. Pleased I bought a bigger freezer! I'm paying for it with toothache :(

Hollyh thank you and well done :) tut tut at getting drunk :rotfl:

Right off to do some more, I'm getting there, honest, it's just too bloomin' warm, saying that I am never pleased as I need to get loads of laundry dry so shouldn't moan! Too busy making sure everyone elses clothes were sorted, forgot mine, even my PJs I want to take so that lots in now.

Oh and I asked DP to sort Woody's crickets before he went to work, he's gone and not done it so best do that aswell. Also need to find keys for BIL who looks after Woody, I did have a spare set but they are missing.

Hugs to those suffering with hayfever, something I am pleased you mentioned as need to buy some more tablets tomorrow, forgot. Me, DP and DS2 all get it, DS2 looks a mess at the minute as he's been so sniffly under his nose etc is all spotty.

Oh and just knew something would happen, every time we go away one of the kids or us has an injury just before, was going well until DS1 went flying across sitting room and hit his face, no bloody thankfully but hols photos he'll have a black eye/cheek! Suppose could be worse, last year I did my ankle in and DS2 had a 4 inch slash on his leg

Right that's it, 6th edit to the post, keep forgetting things :o
One day I might be more organised...........

There's a foot wide burnt grass 'border'
That is exactly what the council have done around my little tree. I planted it in 'their' verge (which I cut most of the time) and they guy came and sprayed round it with weed killer.
Feel a bit better that with shining sinks. Have done 3 loads of washing.
Apart from that general tidying and even did 10 minute hot spot in the garage which is a dumping ground extrodinarie.
Supervised DS2 make a cake and have pruned the trifid round the front door.
DS2 has picked heaps of strawberries to go with his cake.
Really premenstral this month:mad: which is not fun for anyone.
Need to cut the grass out the front which is so long it is flowering.

Well done, hollyh, for getting your list done before the weekend!
Dustykitten, you should channel your pmt and give the council weed killer folk an ear bashing!

Sales of Magnums must have rocketted, I had a wander to the co-op, they're on offer there too. I didn't buy 26 boxes (26 boxes??!!) though but I've eaten 2 just now while finishing the paper in the garden. I did do some gardening for a couple of hours though. Thinking I should've cleaned the outside windows but I've really enjoyed just being at home and amusing myself this afternoon. I'll have a day of industry tomorrow weather depending.

Now, do I do the dishes or eat more ice creams? Hum ha, hum ha..

Flowering :rotfl: I lost the dog in one section of our back garden :rotfl: saying that the trampolines been over it for months so an excuse :D Going to try to get it done this weekend, have done the other half, but seeing as hayfever playing up might have to wait.

Solwaykid, hope you enjoyed both of your icecreams, yep 26 boxes, he said 'will sve money' so suppose the thought was there.

Have given up on the major jobs until I get the boys to bed as they have both come back in from garden and are being usual chaotic selves..washing up needs doing, darn Solwaykid for reminding me, I could have so easily just 'forgot' Aswell as kids being a pain the dogs are also working themselves, probably know what's going on. Was funny when I foudn the vets cards before walked across the room and the oldest hid under the table shaking so have had to hide them so he can't see them. I think he knows it usually means stabbed or left :rotfl: Actually they're probably just being normal and I'm more stressed out because of other stuff
