In any case, that's not strictly true; the legit owner of that chequebook can have that cheque cancelled months later if they care to.My TV is broken!

They can pretend it was stolen, but thats risks going to jail for obtaining goods by deception, and the bank will expect to see evidence of the fraud before anything happens as it is likely that they will be refunding the sum involved.The money, Dave...0 -
