    What, you mean other than the public statements of two people?

    Two very questionable statements. One from;
    A former friend of Mr Wood’s at Yeovil college, who did not wish to be named

    and another from;
    And UKIP activist Gabi Coleman, from Kent, said Mr Wood’s views were “widely known” in the party.

    Oh yes.........what views are these then? Those that resonate with innocent photos and FALSE facebook accounts?

    You STILL haven't responded to why someone felt it necessary to set up a false facebook account to make it LOOK like Mr Woods had posted racist comments.

    If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and the friends and associates of the duck confirm it is indeed a duck.....

    Chances are, it's not a turkey.;)

    Are right, so ignoring all the pertinent facts, we can conclude that you are right with the old "quack like a duck" trick.

    Got anything else or is that it?

    And while we're on this topic, what happened to the many other UKIP members and candidates exposed in that thread?

    Have they all been expelled from the party yet?

    Do you keep a running tally?

    Obviously this is something you feel very strongly about Hamish, and you seem to be convinced that even though proven innocent, Alex Wood is still guilty.

    So why not contact the Police, and ask them to re-open the investigation. They will tell you everything I have said, including the fake facebook accounts (which you previously scoffed at if you read back in the relevant thread), and they will no doubt ask you if you have further evidence.

    I guess you'll just have to say;

    "Look Officer - If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and the friends and associates of the duck confirm it is indeed a duck.....

    Chances are, it's not a turkey - WINK.

    I am Hamish, and I am annoyingly right"

    Good luck

    Yes I did respond to some of the other accusations, most notably Chris Pain - which you also chose to ignore.

    Nigel seems to be having problems with geography, doesn't realise where the Isle of Man is....
    2791_3795.jpg

    UKIP leader Nigel Farage has questioned whether the Isle of Man is off-shore, as his political opponents branded him a “hypocrite” for a setting up a trust in the tax-haven.

    Despite campaigning against tax avoidance, Mr Farage has admitted that he had set up a trust fund to avoid inheritance tax.

    His admissions have led to criticism from both ends of the political spectrum, with Labour MP John Spellar describing it as “typical of UKIP”.

    He said: “They talk about how much they love this country, but they don't even bank here - it's just hypocritical.”

    When he was confronted over the issue on Channel 4 news tonight Mr Farage seemed to backtrack on the confession he had made the day before, asking: “Isle of Man, is that off-shore?”

    When presenter Michael Crick informed him that is, the MEP replied: “Well, it is difficult to define whether it is off-shore or not.”

    The island is well-know as a haven for those trying to avoid paying UK taxes, and is considered as part of the off-shore elite

    So probably not a surprise he still can't seem to vet his candidates properly....
    2787_3789.jpg

    Nigel Farage is facing further questions about Ukip’s vetting tonight after it emerged that two of his party officials attended a demonstration organised by a far-right group.

    The chairman of Ukip’s west London branch Vanessa Crichton and chairman of the Hillingdon branch Cliff Dixon attended an anti-EU protest organised by the British Patriots Society, which has strong links to the English Defence League (EDL).

    The tiny group was set up by Sara Roocroft, a former Ukip member. She has expressed support for the English Defence League in the past and its website was registered in the name of a senior EDL figure, Steve Simmons.

    Matthew Collins of the Hope not Hate anti-extremism campaign group said: “The more people look at Ukip, the more shady it appears.”

    Still, at least that surge in support in the polls is robust, eh?
    2777_3773.jpg

    The row comes as Ukip reels from another electoral blow in Scotland, where it is struggling to get any traction at all.

    The Scottish National party (SNP) won the Aberdeen Donside by-election with a substantially reduced majority, but Ukip failed to retain its deposit.

    "They have never saved a single deposit in Scotland, which once again demonstrates a clear divergence between Scottish and Westminster politics," Alex Salmond commented.

    The electoral drubbing came after another tortured trip to Scotland for the Ukip leader, who was forced to abandon a meeting with Aberdeen Council deputy leader Marie Boulton when anti-fascist demonstrators gathered outside the building.

    Senior Ukip member David Coburn was soaked with a fizzy drink by demonstrators outside a pub in Aberdeen.

    A press conference in the Marriott Hotel, Dyce, also had to be cancelled amid fears of more protests.

    The trip came just a month after Farage had to hole himself up in a Scottish pub to escape angry protestors, who called him "scum" and a "racist".

    Recent polling has suggested an end to the Ukip surge, with the party losing a third of its support and falling back to level with the Liberal Democrats

    Given that there was a photo of that UKIP nitwit actually doing a nazi/fascist salute I reckon that's good enough evidence that he did actually do it. No doubt sampong will parrot the chap's excuse that he was merely reaching for a phone and just happened to accidentally do a nazi salute in the process...about as convincing as Ron Davies' badger stalking episode.

    Oh you do do you? I suppose then, being as you believe you are so superior to have earned the right to refer to someone else as a "nitwit" and since "you" "reckon it's good enough evidence" then we must conclude that he is in fact a Nazi?

    He did release further photos larking about with the pot plant;

    Nevertheless, I notice that you, nor Pricklepants, nor Hamish seem to be able to explain why someone set up a fake facebook account to look like Alex Wood's and posted racist comments on it, which then conveniently "appeared" in the national press.

    Sorry to keep "parroting" on about it, but you seem to keep conveniently ignoring that fact.

    Strange also as you point out, that the alleged "salute" was with the wrong hand. You would have thought if someone was a regular Nazi, giving the correct salute would be natural to them;
    If anyone needed evidence of UKIP's incompetence they need to look no further. Couldn't even work out the correct hand to do a nazi salute with. What is the world coming to. We can't even produce proper fascists any more. Oswald Moseley will be turning in his grave.

    I'm going with the simplest explanation: He did a nazi salute and then before or after he also put his face near a pot plant and someone took a photo of both...you can believe what you want.

    My view is that it's quite obvious he isn't reaching for anything in this photo, I normally lean forwards towards what I'm trying to grab, rather than doing a nazi salute at it.

    OK, still no explanation on the spoof facebook account set up by the smear campaigners then?

    Remember that the police examined his facebook account and computer......

    Oh and by the way, that independent poll was done before he was cleared.
