I reckon someone's been smoking a pot plant if they think UKIP aren't infested with liars, racists and bigots. ;)

Good to hear. Prepare yourself though for torrents of abuse from the lies of Pricklepants, who's facist tendencies would rather do away with free speech and democracy.

You really are taking the pee now
The Police having insufficient evidence to prosecute for a crime in no way proves that a person is innocent of being racist.

Talk about twisting the facts Hamish.

In the mirror article you link to it mentions the alleged racist comments on his facebook page.

Comments which the Police CONFIRM did not appear on Alex Wood's facebook page.

He gave them full access, and handed over his computer.

    So someone else made the comments and you STILL say that;
The Police having insufficient evidence to prosecute for a crime in no way proves that a person is innocent of being racist.

Let me repeat it for you because you really don't seem to be able to get it...

    Someone impersonated him to make the "racist" comments and you still say that;
The Police having insufficient evidence to prosecute for a crime in no way proves that a person is innocent of being racist.

    Seriously, no seriously......

    No really....

    SERIOUSLY

What the hell planet did you arrive from?

    Greens, BNP, UKIP etc.

These alternative parties come and go, but one suspects they will never break the 2/3 party system. Given the chance people voted against the PR system they need to survive.
    Been away for a while.

Ok, so you couldn't find any post where I said Alex Wood was giving the nazi salute. Thanks for clearing that up.
Next time, check your facts before spouting lies about other forum members.

Why don't you check your facts before adding fuel to a chain of posts which wrongly accuse someone of being racist.
There are online defamation laws, don't assume you're untouchable, mister keyboard warrior.

    :rotfl:

If you want an example of being a keyboard warrior, check out your own posts. Like the above one for example, where you are making a pathetic attempt to threaten me over the internet.

Let me know when you'd like my lawyer's contact details.

A former friend of Mr Wood’s at Yeovil college, who did not wish to be named, said: “Alex was very outspoken and radical – his opinions were very right-wing.

"I remember him using the Nazi salute.”

And UKIP activist Gabi Coleman, from Kent, said Mr Wood’s views were “widely known” in the party.

She wrote on Facebook: “There are others but we all keep quiet about it... at least until the election is over.

We have a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy.”

Given the additional background material, his claims to be "dressing like a pirate" and "eating a houseplant" are beyond laughable.

So the police couldn't prove it, which is no surprise, as the bar for prosecution is (rightly) pretty high.

That in no way makes him an example of tolerance, enlightenment and equality.

You are trying to prove that the Police finding insufficient grounds to prosecute on this allegation and this occasion is definitive proof that this person has never held any right wing or racist views whatsoever.

Which is of course completely impossible to ascertain from that.

We now have additional statements from people who knew him saying that he did indeed hold those views.

The only person that knows for sure if he is a racist is of course Alex Wood.

Certainly not you, and certainly not me.

But people are fully entitled to form their own opinions based on the totality of the information presented, and the probability of those excuses being true or not.

Just as people like you are fully entitled to desperately try and use any excuse to divert attention from UKIP being infested with racists and bigots.

    Right I see.

So you have absolutely no evidence.

    None, whatsoever.

In addition, he was the subject of a full Police investigation, in which he was cleared.

During the Police investigation, they confirmed that alleged racist comments did not appear on his facebook page, but were in fact the work of a third party setting up a spoof facebook account.

You have yet to respond to this point. Could you perhaps explain why somebody set up a spoof facebook account to look like Alex Wood's and posted racist comments on there?

You may as well face up to the fact that you have posted inaccurate and misleading information - everybody can see this anyway.

Or perhaps you to are now so angry, that you will start threatening me over the internet like Pricklepants has?

I'm most interested to see where these "threats" lead. If anyone is guilty of defamation - you are a prime candidate Hamish.

    .

What, you mean other than the public statements of two people that know him?

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, acts like a duck, and the friends and associates of the duck confirm it is indeed a duck.....

Chances are, it's not a turkey.;)
