Yes, I too had my house deeds and tax credit forms photographed. They then rang for copies as they said they weren't clear enough. E-mailed copies to them. The job was finished early December. I have recently been asked to send copies of the documents to them again, as they claimed not to have seen the ones I E-mailed which they said would be returned to me. Needless to say they weren't!0 -
Well as I mention earlier, ive contacted the data protection people because this is open to fraud and abuse and to be honest,if they have lost copies or photos, they should be reported anyway.Where is the data protection?0

I know someone who has 4 children under 10 y/o, one of them is just diagnosed with autism, I don't know her income but she says she gets Housing Benefit and Income Support and Child Tax Credit. They are in Essex. Looking on a few websites, it looks to me like she's eligible- the boiler is 12 or so years old. I hve been trying to get her to apply but she doesnt like forms(!). How confident can I be that if she can be persuaded to try, she would get some success?0

Depends on if she has any insulation already or maybe be able to get a top up,the boiler as far as I,m aware may have to be G rated.you,d have to check the rating on the boiler.
I,m cancelling my application as I,m not having my personal documents on someones phone.0 -

Does that mean you will forgo getting a free boiler?0 -
Yes,not even sure I would get one now due to the G rating some one else mentioned,i think mine is 70% efficient despite being 20 years old.I just can,t be bothered with the hassle,if they,d made it simple, then no problem.
Why does an energy assessor need to take photos of all your docs and then lose them? I think a simple check list would have been better.Ive not a lot of money but I,ll just save for one.0 -

if anyone has had there information go missing, this website sort of tells you what the company should do and gives you a guide what to do if you need to take it further.0 -
I had my Deeds and documents photographed - not a problem to me. Not quite sure why people on here are so worried about it. It's all part of getting these boilers installed and fitted for free.
My boiler was fitted December 6th, took about 6 months to get to that stage and had to pester and call on a weekly basis, but it's all done and dusted.0
