I am wakening up 4/5 times during the night wringing, hair plastered to me and sweat running off me, its horrible, waken up in morning feeling exhausted.

has anyone got any idea about the dreams?

I've also had lots of strange dreams but had never associated it with the memopause. :o

I have a fan running all night in the bedroom as well.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Haha! I started to fan myself with a small Hand fan, discretely you understand, I used to find it embarrassing and did not want to tell my OH. One night as we were getting ready for bed he was wandering round all the rooms. When I asked hm what he was doing he said he was making sure the windows were closed because he keeps feeling a draught in the night!
    Silly boy.

Bad dreams, feelings of desperation and mortality, hot sweats, dry wirey hair and dry skin, weight gain.......I could go on.

The menopause sucks BIG TIME and I've only been going through it for the last five years! I would rather go through puberty and pregnancy again than suffer the menopause!

I had fantastic results using a Ladycare magnet from Boots. I know it doesn't work for everybody, but after years of distress my friends were amazed how it worked for me. I stopped using it a couple of years ago but now the flushes are starting again, so I am going to get another.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I HATE hot flushes. I only get them on my head, since I lost my hair from chemo. I'm on tamoxifen now and I get restless twitchy legs as well. My oh got me a Chillow for my birthday and that helps at night. I've just bought one of those scarves, so thanks for that ;)

I daren't take any supplements like sage until I've talked to the GP, in case it effects my regime.

I also got a titchy fan for £8.99 from Argos, that sits on my bedside drawers but its too noisy to sleep through.

I have ordered the chillow, going to try the sage after I have been in town next, and going to try and eat a little healthier.
fingers xed in a couple of weeks these dreaded hot flushes will abate a bit x
