Belated happy birthday for Connor, hope he had a good day.
Well done on the ebay sales.
Good luck with finding some wedding wear for under a fiver. I think a lot of imagination is required there. I have the same dilema but still got a month to think about it. Depends how important it is to you to stick to your budget. I have a strict budget for groceries and petrol, which its emotionally vital for me to stick to, but with anything else its more of a guide budget and as long as it averages out im not worried.
Well done to your OH and to you for brainwashing him. Lets hope this is the start of his real LBM.
Eek at your MiL. I think most people appreciate that its one of those occassions, like Christmas, where you feel you have to split yourself in half, and therefore cant oblige evryones requests for your company. Does she know how skint you are? She seems to have forgotten your a Mum too, albeit with a LO too young to understand.0 -

TBH I don't think she can afford it any more than we can..... we are just at different stages of our DF journey'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Not much to report today.... DS is at MiL tonight, as I worked late and am now in tomorrow (extra money for a Sunday:T ).....
Managed to break my terramundi this morning whilst dusting:eek: so had to spend £17 on a new one.... BUT i counted my £2s and I must have been really carp at keeping count because there was £70 worth in there, not the £56 that I thought! Plus there were LOADS of £1s and 50ps.... OH must have been putting money in there too, I'm sure I haven't put that much in! So I took the £17 from there, as theer was way more than I thought, so that makes it ok.
Failed miserably on my weekly spends/NVDs last week as I totally lost the plot, but I am back on top ready for this week (well starting on Monday, as it's yummy roast pork again at work tomorrow!)...
OH reckons we are on a 'health drive' from Monday, as he is giving up smoking again :T :j and has realised that we both eat far too much junk! So no crisps and chocolate in this house once it has all gone! I did help by eating a whole bar of Dairy Milk in two days!:o
That'll do for now, must got to bed as I am up again at 6!
