  • well done for paying off another debt. Very honourable of you to pay it off for your OH, it must be a weight off your mind, knowing that you owe less between you now. You can always make him pay you back if you want to teach him the value of money.

    Hope your laptop is fixable. Ours isnt in very good working order either. I dread the day it packs up completely.

    I'm only doing it because he is making an effort (ish) topay off the debts, by giving me the money each month, and not spending so much money on things.... and to be fair, some of the stuff I have eBayed in the past have been his anyway :D I told him that if he starts to spend silly again, I will BT all the money back to his card then he won't have any money to spend!

  • I know! The diesel roung here is 108.9p per litre atm - my £10 doesn't get me very far at all! I remember when the fuss was being made that it got to 80p a litre.... those were the days!
    NVD is No Vendor Days.... basically, we're on a mission not to buy food at work, and to take our own instead (much like the Lunch Log)
