Had a couple more Amazon sales which I need to post tomorrow....
Bought a top for the wedding (£16.20 after discount) don't expect it will be seen much of the day due to the cold weather, but I have a cardy that I can wear with it, and it is something that I will wear again a lot during the summer, so it's not too bad..... 'borrowed' money from this months clothes budget too.... so lets hope I don't win the boots I'm bidding for on eBay!
What day is it today? Oh yeah, Wednesday..... payday on Friday :T Wahooooo..... Bills/monthly saves DD is all set to come out.
Have taken stock of the finances after not paying any attention for a while.... and I am £300 into my o/d    although £160 of that OH will pay me back on payday, as it is the DD for his child maintenence (sp?) and I have a shortfall of £179 between my CC and my OC account..... I used £187 of my OC money to pay off one of OH's debts on my Egg card, after last pay day, when I was feeling flush.... and it's all kinda gone downhill from there! And i have absolutely NO idea where the money went......actually I do have a good clue, his name is OH! I MUST MUST stand up to him when I have no money!!!!
So within a month of being CC debt free...... I now have £328 more debt    SERIOUSLY hacked off about that, but I shall learn from it and move on....
I think my two problems are:-
1) OH knows I have an OD on the bills acc, and sees this as money that can be spent - I am just too damn soft and end up taking money out just for the quiet life:mad:
2) I am using my Skycard for the cashback (towards paying the Sky bill) but I still haven't got my head around only spending the same amount as the cash I have to pay it back....
So I have decided that it's new payday, new plan! I am taking the bills acc debit card back out of my purse so the temptation is not there - I should cut it up but I am not brave enough to just yet.....
I am also going to stop using my CC until it is paid off (again! ) and possibly stop using it altogether..... I do seem to have an emotional attachment to my CC, and am worried about 'emergencies' that never seem to happen, but I know will happen as soon as I leave my card at home! I never realised that trying to become DF would be such a struggle - emotionally and physically! But I have loads of stuff to eBay, so once I find and charge the batteries for the camera, I will take some picks and get listing again...
Was accepted for 4.9%, 60mth card.... just waiting for it to come thru, then I will transfer OH's Egg balance across..... have cut up his card, and thrown half of it away, so he won't be able to use it for a while.... at least until he takes the initiative to order a new card... then I will try my hardest to intercept the post
Got a day off tomorrow and a million things to do.... but as I know I will be on/off here all day, I will start a jobs list of things to be done, and update as I go..... worked pretty well last time anyway.....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -

Hi im new today. I hope ive put this in right catagory.
Can anyone understand that my Husband and i are in debt quite a bit and we have treid everthing to get out of it but hit a brick wall all the time. My husband works, i dont and we have 3 kids. We get housing benefit because we live in private rented accommodation. I would like to go to work either part/full time but what ever i earn the benefit will stop and we would be no better off. We would really like to get out of debt on our own but this is totally impossible. I tried self employment to help but got us further in it. Can anyone suggest anything please.0
