  • Yeah it is the one u bought..... its great because when u push it along the floor, the little chimney bobs up and down.... he spends ages chasing it across the kitchen floor, then trying to run over the dog with it, or crash it into the hoover or the kitchen cupboards :D

He doesn't mind too much... he either retreats to te back of the car (he will sit in the boot, with it open, all day if he could - likes to watch the world go by!), or he'll get up onto the sofa where he can't get run over! I think secretly he enjoys the attention tho!

  • Finally got another £2 today, that takes me up to £72 :D

Have just re-done the snowballs with my new debt - my DFD is now Nov '08, with a £250pm payment... bearing in mind the loan payment is £223.25. I have only put myself down to pay off £26.75 per month off the CC/OD, but that is just to make it a round figure (I like them!), I intend to pay off more than that each month!
OH's new snowball with the BT to my 4.9% CC (from 16.9% on OH's Egg) has the extra £20 BT fee added, and his DFD has stayed the same at Jan 08, thats with £150 pm payments.....
BUT if I snowball all our debts together, we can both be DF by Nov '08, with a minimum payment of £400 pm.... obviously this will decrease as I will keep putting the OC money towards it rather than hoarding it as I have been.... I would much rather see us both DF.... and anyway, all OH's debt are now in my name, as my CR is way better than his, so I can get better rates. I have told him that he is not allowed his CC back until it is all paid, which he is happy with.... I told him that I can't trust him with one until this debt has gone, as nearly £500 of the original debt was cash advances!
He has told me this evening that he applied for another card, but I told him not to bother as his rating is too pants and it won't get any better if he keeps applying..... plus the credit Crunch is biting, and he is definately a 'high risk' customer.....

Right, off to fight with my sig again!

  • Definately! I think he will probably be turned down, because I applied for a couple of the cards on Quidco for the cashback, and he was rejected, and Sainsburys Bank are pretty strict on who they lend to....
Even if he is accepted, because he works the night shift, he's in bed before the postie comes, and I'm in before he wakes up.... two of three times I've cut up his CC after he's requested a new one :D

  • I know its naughty, but needs must!

Right, have done sig with total debt, have put in my total CC balance as I haven't paid the OC money off yet (bill not due til the 9th, so will do it then) hence DFD being Jan 09....

I am SOOO tempted to open my Sealed Pots now and get them paid of a bill! We also have £300 from OH's aunt that we have in a saving acc, the idea being that we buy something we want (we decided it would be the start of our wedding savings) so my dilemma now is..... do I pay off the £300 plus the sealed pots (not my terramundi tho!) off a debt? Or do I leave the wedding money and just do the sealed pots? Or do I leave both of them untouched?
