Good luck for the vets, I had the same with my dog a couple of weeks ago found a couple of lumps, was so pleased they were just fatty lumps.

  • Yay! I have FINALLY won something on Bingo!!!! I wasn't even paying attention - I was reading a thread on here...... and when I went back, my balance was £15something! The only problem now is that I have no money in that acc to deposti, so that I can remove my winnings!

Hey Sarah, well done on the Bingo!! Hope visit to vets goes well - let us know xx

  • Just paid £40 off two of OHs CCs this morning..... left £10 still to pay as the Egg card seems to try and keep taking the minimum payment, no matter how much is paid off before the DD is due. Thats why OH got a bounced DD last time, must remeber to go in and cancel that booger! So OH's total debt, once cleared, is down to £1585.91...
Must be careful with my own CC now..... I seem to have gone a bit mental the last couple of days and spent quite a bit..... I do have the cash sat ready to pay it off when the bill comes in, but it just looks like a lot, and I am worried that I will go back to putting loads of money on there. I've been using it for the cash back, but I think I will have to stop and go back to my basic bank acc instead.
Gotta get some cash into my MBing/Bingo acc today so I can withdraw my winnings :)

EDIT: Just phoned Beneficial to unlock my online banking, and they told me that the 0% balance transfer offer doesn't end until 30th June this year (I thought it was March!) so I have BTd another £450 from OH's Egg onto it - I know I said I wasn't going to, but he is trying to help me get him DF, and it only cost £9, where as he got £17 interest last month, so it will save us some money, and may even bring his DFD a month closer! Will toddle off to check that in a minute...
Once everything has settled, and payments have cleared, he will have a total debt of £1594.91 across three cards..... £683 @ 0% till 30th June (my card), £725.26 @ 16.9% (OH card) and £186.65 @ 17.9% (my card, and the first one to be paid off according to the last snowball calc we did). There is also a couple of £s on his Vanquis card, but I haven't included it because a) I don't know how much it is and b) I'll pay it off and close the account once the bill comes in

  • Right, have updated the snowball, and OHs DFD is still Feb 09:o .... but only £25 off moving it forward a month! Its when this happens that I am tempted to cash in the Sealed pot and pay it off a CC!:o I know its gonna be tight his month, and OH is aware too. Hopefully he will get a bit more overtime in before the end of the month, to make it a bit easier in March...
Just remembered we are going to a family wedding in March... OH has already said we are going to be spending loads of money!!! He is so 'keep up with the Jones' it is untrue! At least I have convinced him that we are not staying at the hotel (saving us £120+) as it is only 20 mins drive away, and I won't be drinking loads anyway because of DS..... but it looks like our 'spare' Council Tax payment will get eaten up with that!

Looking at everything else, all the saves accounts seem pretty good.... got over £500 in my car acc, and tax/MOT/ins etc isnt due till May or June, so there should be plenty there to pay for everything. £160 saved already for Summer holiday, and haven't even got one booked yet, altho we have a week off in Aug so maybe we will go then.....

Now I really must get off my @r$£, get in the shower and go and sort stuff out!

That's really sweet of you, u didn't need to, but thank you!

Well took doggie dog to the vets today, and good news - the vet felt his lumps and said that they are all fatty lumps that are common in older dogs :D Thank goodness for that! Also, as I was in and out in no time, they only charged me for a 'quick consultation' which was half the price of a normal one. Didn't think £13 was too much to pay for a bit of peace of mind! Blows my weekly spends out the water, but well worth it!

I wouldn't have minded, but I'm not sure Dan would have seen the funny side!:D

  • Requested my bingo winnings this morning afetr registering another card.... £13.74 + £30 depositted in its way to me as a type.... should only be a couple of days......
Got more than I thought from Quidco.... £21.77 hit my acc this morning, I was only expecting £1.27..... the extra £20.50 came from the PO CC I got ages ago..... Better dig out the address so I can cancel it.
Applied and was accepted for a normal Halifax current acc this morning, so I can get rid of the silly Easycash card! I only got the Easycash because OH opened one during the bank charges reclaim process, and I wanted instant money transfer from his acc to mine... so once the new details come thru, I'll trash that one... or I might keep it as my bingo acc...... I'll think on that.
Still have to go to Barclays and sory out my MBing acc..... got the Pinsentry handset, but as I chopped my card up and never knew the pin, its not much use atm - but then I only got that acc so I could view my ISA online.... can't do that atm and thats whats really bugging me!
Just made some little potsof food for Connor, so I can put them in the freezer.... Pasta Bolognese and Cauli/Broccoli Cheese, and four small pots of spare cheese sauce..... Just gott awash up all the mess, then start again with the vegetable sticks (carrot, parsnip and courgette) and then I'm done.... and can get on with the housework!

Oh and s0ds law..... the morning after I post on Pap's diary to say I still can't find me iPod earphones, guess what turns up!?!
