Glad you're managing to pay nice large chunks.

Does your OH have £160 + the £120 his friend owes?

You're doing really well for you both!

  • Yeah, he should be getting that back on Wednesday..... I did tell him we were gonna pay it off the CC, but I might let him keep it so I don't have to sub him any money this month..... I'd forgotten about that since the other day!

woo hoo! I've changed my pay out limit to £20 so I notice it when it arrives in my account - would be too easy to blow the £1.27 otherwise!;)

Updated my sig and not sure if I like it now..... will have to have another play in a bit and see what I can do....
Paid £100 off OH's CC today..... not the right one according to the snowball, because his Egg had a £16 overlimit charge  and £17 interest.....There's still another £50 to pay off the other two, but they are the small balances (£221.65 @ 17.9% and £229 @ 0%)...before the £50, that takes the total debt down to £1625.71, so we are getting there slowly.....
Hopefully DS's new pushchair should come tomorrow (had to buy on CC, but should get most of the money back for his birthday...)
Have put some more 'other stuff' on my CC, but have the money sat in a spare acc until the 9th when the bill is due...I hate this bit 'in the middle'...... most of my wages have gone due to lots of payments (inc the biggies of rent/loan/council tax) going out of my acc, but money from OH not going in yet (roll on Wednesday).
OC08 up to £363.24, but waiting for a couple more things to drop in before the first update..... not doing too bad so far
On hols from work again this week, so should be minimal spends other than budgetted ~ food shopping, some paint for house from household maintenance budget. Got lots of housework to do, and LOADS of stuff to eBay, just haven't got round to doing anything yet.... MUST give turbo lister a go!....ooooh how can I forget big spends!?!?! Charlie's off to the vets on Monday, so thats bound to cost a fortune! Thank goodness for insurance, but I'll need to pay for it on my CC them claim back..... and I think my excess is about £65:eek: Still, he's worth it!

Why dont you let your OH have half off the money that hes getting back & half for the credit cards?

Yeah, after some fiddling, it turned out to be pretty much the same :rotfl:
OH is still going slowly..... its gonna be a long, drawn out process with him! Little man is good, can't believe he's one this month:eek: He's had lots of bumps and knocks the last few days, he's so determined to stay upright, but keeps falling down.

I'm good, first day of my holiday today, and I get a phone call from OH at 0645 to say that someone has gone sick, so I had to go in for a couple of hours

Not looking forward to tomorrow at the vets, I found another three lumps yesterday, they're everywhere :(
