Good for you - anyway, I think rats are really cute ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

  • Took my lunch to work today..... spent a massive 68p on tea and toast for breakfast tho! I am allowing myself breakfast, as normally I spend £25ish a week on food at work, if I only buy tea and toast, its looking more like £3 a week, which is much better!
OH's debt has gone down by £10.... the minimum payment for my CC has gone out today (why is it that payments to Egg always take 4 days to clear!?!).... so I taken that off my spreadsheet.... will amend snowball accordingly in a minute....
Found out earlier that OH has managed to wrack up nearly 4 days extra OT in the last 3 weeks too, so should have a bit more money than expected, which is good!
Booked days off for Glasgow meet, so just need to save the money now..... my travelling companion has started looking at arrangements, so we're half way there already!
Just seen a survey in my inbox that says 1000 Cadburys Breme Eggs up for grabs - THAT is my king of survey!

    OH CC £1754.77

Thanks Gem. That was Connor's first attempt at feeding himself..... he got it every but in his mouth, so gave up and used his hands! Very entertaining tho and the dog had a good feast!

    Awwww, he's so cute Sarah!

Great news about the overtime and well done for starting to only buy breakfast at work. That's quite a saving you will be making!

Like the sound of the cream egg survey......yummmmm! :D

  • Aims for Feb:

*Pay half Council tax into ISA, and half off OH CC
    *List more things on eBay
    *List more things on Amazon
*Do all surveys that come through to me
    *Re-start daily clicks
*Take food to work every day
*Walk to work as often as possible
*Make a proper effort to meal plan/shop with list - bit hit and miss atm!
*Not add to my debt, or allow OH to add to his!

Just posted this on another thread, thought I'd copy it across and see how far I get with it.... might just add a couple more....

*Continue to turn OH to a DFW in a stealthy way!
*Stash a nominal amount of money each month from OH's acc to give back to him at a later date (amount tbc)
    *Start saving for Glasgow meet
