Been an up and down day today, so gonna be a bit selfish and take some 'me' time in front of the tv with wine and biscuits, so no more MSE today...

Enjoyed my night in front of the tv last night, in a way it was good to get away from here..... couldn't stay away for long tho, would miss it too much!
Had a massive blow out row with OH tonight about whats going on at work, but ended up having another good long talk, so *hopefully* he will get in contact with his boss tomorrow and sort out whats going on - its really starting to get me down, plus he's spent a bloody fortune on his CC, inc taking cash out, and I'm annoyed because he won't want to pay it off with the same urgency that I will
Guess Ill just have to leave him to that one on his own!
Moneywise its ok for me, another 7 coins into my sealed bottle, plus a £2. Just waiting for all my transfers to catch up, then I can see where the money's at, and how much is left on my card.....

Gorgeous day today, very cold but glorious sunshine..... Picked DS up from MIL this morning after having a nice lie in (thank you!), then walked up to the post office with the dog, after lunch, as the poor thing hasn't had a walk for a week!!! Posted my two packets, but now have to put in a claim for two that I sent that haven't turned up yet!!!
OH broke the ice with his boss today, gave her a call and is now going to see her tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully this whole silly mess can be fixed.
Moneywise, OH has realised the error of his ways and is giving me his CC after Xmas to put in the freezer until it is paid off (I suspect it'll be there for a long time! Just put another 15 coins into my whiskey jar, and a £2 into the other tin
Looked at the travel stuff for Jan, and it looks like its gonna be best if I drive to Banbury then get the train from there (£14 return). I know the town well so I know where I can park for free
Think thats all for now, best update my sig, then go check the boards.....

that is a real pain. One thing though might be worth posting a want on freecycle.org. Someone might have an old phone that they would give you for nowt. If you don't ask you don't get. Or what about any friends who have just upgraded?
you can excuse your asking for their old hand set by saying about xmas being expensive etc if you need to

Not been around for a few days, its been manic at work and just haven't had time really! OH is now on days for a while, so its been great spending time with him, and we've even been getting on! He's completely skint (and he knows it!) but hasn't moaned at all yet, which is rare.
Moneywsie, other than putting some coins in my pot, I've kinda lost the plot a little bit, mainly due to work, so hopefully I'll be back on track this week.
Gonna spend the day tomorrow sorting out my pig sty of a house, I don't start work til 1600 (til midnight:eek: ) so once DS is at nursery, I'll be doing the weekly shopping, then tidying up from top to bottow (plus trying to get in the loft to FINALLY get the Xmas stuff down!)
Got some last minute prezzies to look for, but will probs do that on Wednesday, as thats my only day off before Sun..... otherwise, searching the house for things to eBay, and genrally having a good tidy up! I took the CHAOS challenge off my sig as it just wasn't working! Hopefully I can fix that tomorrow!

Finished my Xmas shopping today, and only came out £30 over budget, which I am happy with. Just gotta wrap it all up now, plus get the tree out the loft and put that up tonight....
Moneywise things are ok..... been putting lots of coins in my pots, plus had a few £2s.... worked out that I calculated my CC wrong, so theres actually £450 odd on there left to pay, not the £370 that I thought! Still, hopefully that will be gone in the new year and I can start saving towards the loan.
I do have some 'me' money in my Isa, and now I'm not sure if I should use that to help pay off the loan or not....? The interest is already added on, so any early settlement wouldn't save me any money, plus OH and I both spent the money, but only I have saved that money (only £10 a month mind), so not too sure....
OH has taken his CC back today, but is nearly up to £1000 already  and the limit is only £1250. I'm gonna put it in my sig (plus the other one!) so I can keep a track on it, but I am not paying it off at all..... he's already giving me £50 a month to pay for the BT I did for him, but now he's gonna have to pay even more! The BT is 0% and he will be finished paying it off when the 0% runs out, but the new balance is on Egg and unless he agrees to take some drastic money-saving action, I will not be helping him to pay it off, and he can accrue the interest!
Think that's it for now, will be back later no doubt!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
