Sarah, don't beat yourself up about it we all have little slips every now and then. I`m sure with the challenges etc you will get back on track.

    Take care

  • Sold my last two items, still waiting for one to pay.... started trying to spend the money already tho, bidding for some baby clothes! Just gotta get this little lot posted, then add the £90 odd profits to my account :D

Will get there, I'm determined to!

  • Don't quite know what happened, but I must have got my figures muddled up, Pay Off by Xmas target has changed AGAIN - not sure what happened there!:o Gonna reset it to what it should be now....
Anyways, transferred the money to pay off my Egg card today, so that should be in my current account and ready to pay off on Thurs.... a massive £2429.14:eek: Will be a real shame to see it go from my savings account, but cant wait for the next CC bill that says £0 balance :D :j :T - the cards already cut up, so no worries about using it again.

According to my revised figures, I need another £202.10 to pay off my Sky card (0% til March 08), then another £2232.50 to pay off my loan, giving a total of £2434.60 to pay off by Christmas...

Cheap listing day on eBay on Weds, so I intend to get lots of things listed then, plus got some Quidco money waiting to clear, and MBing is being restarted after being on hols..... so lots of things in the pipeline, just got to keep it going now.... and hopefully not confuse myself with my figures in the process :o

Better update my sig now, and post on Lucy's challenge board before I forget.... then bed!

Very  , I'm 27 with a 5mth old, no savings other than the debt money and a little for birthdays, Xmas etc that we have started to budget for.... in fact, my son has more money than I do! I do have a pension thru work tho...
I also pay £10 per month into an account for DS - a condition to keep the account open, but I hope to be able to save for his future too and teach him how to manage his money better than I did. Also hope to save for a deposit for a house - VERY expensive round here, even in the part I live in - and hope to get a newer car (shouldn't say that too loud tho, my car might hear it and she has a habit of sulking/playing up!). Hopefully I'll be debt free, or as near to as poss by Christmas, then the saving starts in earnest in the New Year

Hopefully this site and the people on here (and all the challenges!!!) will keep me focused on my goal..... I do feel a bit of a fraud sometimes tho, compared to what many here have, my debt is minimal, but it is still a burden to me.

    Heres to debt-freedom

  • i feel like that at times too, a bit of a fraud, but at the same time, im on crap wage as is my partner, so our debt is huge to us. we have just moved house from a horrible estate, back to where i used to live (4 doors down from where i grew up!!), and i love it. ive just recovered from a gambling problem so matched betting isnt an option for me!! trying to redecorate the new house aswell as pay off the debts, save for xmas etc, its exhausting but i know i can do it with the support from ppl on here, and i love reading ppls diaries, ive just read yours and its great to see how far youve come, u shud give urself a pat on the back xxx

  • Thanks,

Must admit, u do get wrapped up in it all sometimes and forget what u have aleady done. I know what u mean about exhausting! Esp on payday, cuz u have to figure out where all the DDs are going, how much goes into each savings pot, how much cash is left etc etc etc. Makes my head hurt sometimes!
You have done well too tho, nearly £1k off ur debt in a month, thats bl00dy good progress! CC down from £550 to £60, loan gone completely.... Pat urself on the back too!
