i did am tempted to go back in sep before stomp finishes ...will control myself though lol
  • How did the MB go Sarah? I keep meaning to read all the blurb on this but haven't had time yet. Some people seem to be making quite a bit doing it though.
Good luck at work tomorrow, I hope it goes well.
Thanks, I'm REALLY looking forward to it
MBing was actually REALLY  the first time I did it, but the guys and gals on the Newbies thread over there are fantastic!
I would definately recommend u print and read the thread until u have a good understanding.... altho as soon as ur faced with doing it, u forget half of what u've read! I've been reading it for the last month or so, and it makes a bit of sense now.
U'll need to have a bit of cash to begin with (I started with £100), and post on the newbies thread before u place ur bets. If u do it right, it's a good way to make some money (as u can see from other sigs!) I've only made £14.30 so far (from 2 bets), plus another £25 thats gone straight back in.
Print the beginners guide off first and see what u think!

Hi Sarah, I've just sold some Next, Debenhams and Gap clothes on eBay (from pre-LBM obviously!), and they went really well. You managed to get an awful lot for £14, I'm coming shopping with you in future, lol!

Well done on the matched betting - I would love to have a go, but would almost definitely mess it up!

How is everything going now Sarah? The Ebay items still on or have they sold? I tried selling 0-3 mths stuff - some success, some not. I too went to the next sale and got loads of summer stuff for DD for £16 - amazing. Can also resell when outgrown :D Worth it in the sales as a lot of stuff is similar ( or a tiny bit higher) in price to say, Primark, but you can resell, which is very MSE :)

  • Hi Sea, thanks for droping in, I keep forgetting to post here :o too busy posting everywhere else!!!
The eBay things are still listed atm, I'm back at work now so had to time the listings ending at the right time so that I can post them. There's a bit of interest so far, which is good. I STILL haven't got round to sorting out the baby clothes, but I'm off work in a couple of weeks time, so I'll defo get them listed then..... DS is now out of all his 3-6mths clothes, hence the spends in Next.
Was there anything particular that u couldn't sell from ur 0-3 stuff? I was thinking about bundling all the Next stuff together (two seperate bundles for the different ages tho) and then doing a bundle for the other stuff seperately, as the Next stuff seems to go better.
Started to dabble in Matched betting a bit.... only £14.30 profit so far, but it's a start...

DFWing has really slowed since going back to work - first week was chaotic, plus DS had his 'settlement days' at nursery, so I'm all over the place. Hopefully it'll settle down this week, just in time for my two weeks hols :D .
But at least I haven't added to my debt.... except DS needs a new car seat as he's growing out of his infant carrier, so might have to hit the OD for that (20% off at Boots, plus I get points). Having said that, I just remembered OH owes me £130 from last month for stuff he bought his DS1, so that'll cover the OD dent when he pays me back on payday:D

Hope ur still looking after urself!

  • After the whole PS3 saga with Immoral_Angel, I feel compelled to confess my sins....... Since going on Mat leave 6 months ago, I've managed to put £545.60 onto my Sky Card
I'm REALLY !!!!!! off with myself, because I convinced myself that I would put the money away to pay it off (it 0% purchases til Mar 08), but we haven't. I know its my fault, I should have had more control over the money, I should not of let OH tell me that it was 'ok to put it ion the CC, I'll give u the money next payday!) - I fell for that one more than once!
So time to sort everything out, and re-jig my challenge targets, because I've got some work to do to fix this!!!

With what I already had saved for Egg, plus my challenge money, I have £2675.52..... so if I clear Egg, that leaves me with £181.38 to start again, so

    Loan £3125.50 - £893 (4xpayments) = £2232.50
    CC £545.60 - £181.38 = £364.22

    TOTAL £2596.72:eek:

So now I've confessed, I'll update my sig and start again :o And this time the answer is no!!!!
