Definately... and I walked up to the supermarket to get it, with the baby and dog in tow, so no money spent on fuel either:D
OH's off again next week so will probably want to come shopping with me... might have to sneak out before he wakes up, can't afford for him to come again!

If I *allow* DH to come shopping with me, the bill is astronomical and strangely we have nothing to eat! Whereas if I go by myself, we have full cupboards with plenty of meal options! Can't really walk there and back as it's a mile away (or a few yards to the convenience store but that would be twice as expensive as letting DH come shopping with me)!DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]

But Sea, he got Jaffa cakes - surely they are allowed on your diet? They are allowed on ANY diet :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

That will keep you occupied for the rest of the evening. A good purchase IMHO :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Cat - the supermarket is a good two mile round trip, but the dog needed a good walk (and so did I if the truth be known!) I only intended to go for the papers and some bread, but as I had my list in my pocket and didn't look much, I thought I'd get the lot. Most entertaining packing out the pushchair for the journey home tho!
Sea/Hypno - aren't jaffa cakes one of the 'best' treats u can get in terms of fat content? Or is that just a myth I tell myself as I open the second packet and start munching!?!

OMG!!!! Can't believe I was stressingover phoning the elec company re my rebate! Sent an email last week requesting my money back.... 'we will reply within two days'.... ummm, no you won't! Called them today, and asked for the cheque to be sent, expecting them to say no, and the lovely lady just said.....' That's fine dear, the cheque will be with u within 10 days':D
Not much of a rebate, the Econ 7 meter's only charged us for the expensive elec for the first 7 months we were here, so the cheques only gonna be for £451!!!:j
Spot the happy person- just have to wait for the cheque to arrive now!

I think I'll end up having to give OH some, as he pays half the bills... but I'll barter him down to as little as I can:D . My half, plus whatever I can squeeze out of OH will go towards my debts.... Oct 1st is looming, and I still have quite a bit to save before I can pay off my CC in time for no interest charges!
