I've decluttered a few hotspots in the LR and tidied up the kitchen. The washing machine is giving it big licks. I'm just stopping for a coffee then I will tidy DDs room and the hovel that DS2 calls a room. Of course they will be helping under duress probably
Wish the rain would go away this winterdyke and TD buisness is just not on its meant to be dry by now outside if not sunny!
Be back soon xI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
By the sounds of it you are beating yourself up enough over this without anyone else casting judgement.
Hopefully you will avoid jail but please.. don't do it again.. There are so many people whose lives have been ruined by such thoughtless acts.. and I'm sure you wouldn't want to cause that pain to any family, including your own!! Living with the guilt of hurting (or worse) another person would crush me.. and I'm sure it would you too. xx

Cat posi-vibes for you too, mate. Onwards and upwards; all you can do is learn from the experience and move on. (((HUG)))
I'm reaping the "rewards" of lopping branches off the hedge yesterday - can barely move my shoulders and arms today. I need to get Mr LW to help me wash my hair tonight, too, so that should be.... interesting.:D
I need to do my tax return at some point (another Frog, I fear) but I just can't face it today. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Kids have helped declutter their rooms 1 black bag out and a few bowls and tumblers found. Just need to Hoover it now. The men turned up to put the new front door in. They took the old one out brought the new one up and I could either have the door opening out the way or having it opening in the way but totally blocking my inside door and not being able to get furniture in or out ! I told him neither thank you very much just put the old leaky door back on and come back with the door that I'm paying for. I'm sorry he said the old door is away we will put this one on tempory. Cue me going outside to find my door laying at the side of their van! So old door now on and they are coming back tomorrow or not getting paid!
Waiting for the caravan repair man coming now to do my gas safety check before we start using it.
Suppose I should tidy up the mess before it gets trailed all over the house!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

Kiddies away to bed. DD was shattered and told me to go away mid-cuddle
whereas DS wanted to chat. I asked if he was worried about anything and bless him he reeled off a list of things, he has a lot of changes coming up with moving out of preschool, changing swimming group, summer club, holidays, school and after school club.
I think I try to prepare him too much, and give him too much notice. I might try just not telling him and see if he copes better in the deep end IYSWIM. I think he just builds up his anxiety if he knows about stuff beforehand. I also might call the childrens worker from the hospice. He said at the time it wasn't a good idea to meet him, but in a year or two we might need some support.
Anyways, I've done a spot of washing, collected DS swim certificate and badge (:T) and tidied up after supper. I need to do my pack up, sort my bag and get clothes out for morning. Yikes, I better iron my trousers too... But I'm just having some soup. Yesterday's carrot and coriander was a bit bland but I made up some extra strong stock to add today and its so much nicer.
Cat, I really do hope it works out for you. My brother did something similar many years ago. He was about 3x over the limit  and got a hefty fine and ban, but not a custodial sentence. I'm sure you wouldn't take such a risk again, just thank your lucky stars no-one got hurt. In a few weeks you can put it all behind you. Until then, is it worth trying to focus on something, perhaps trying to get some money together in case there is a fine? Rather than stressing about the worst case scenario? (Hugs)Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Thanks all. I'm just so disgusted at myself. I've always had a problem with alcohol - hence the therapy now, but I deliberately have a breathalyser at home so I DON'T drive. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Thank God I didn't hurt anybody.
Ok. Onwards. No point stewing until 16th. Root Canal now decluttered. Ouch. But hopefully that is it.
DH popped in for 10mins. Scoffed Goats Cheese Nicoise, changed and went out again. I'm sitting with 1/2 avocado and cottage cheese. Can't face anything more solid. Yoga not happening.

Up to date with the washing up. Bread finished. Washing hung. Done some paid for work so need to clear the dining room table/desk or it will annoy me in the morning.
Off to Oxford tomorrow to see Solicitor. Must remember to put chicken in SC before I leave. I've been told by treatment centre (start Thursday) that I will be kna**ered, and not to come home and fly/walk dog/cook. What the heck else do they think I'm going to do. That's the whole point of not being residential. Normal life. I like cooking/cleaning and walking the dog.:rotfl:GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -

Those are normal concerns for every boy or girl.. all the people he will meet in these new places will be feeling just the same as him. change is part of becoming a big grown up hairy man beast and really these things are just the same thing but maybe at a different time or in a different place and after a couple of times he will have friends and it will feel like he has been there always. All those people he is going to meet are friends he hasn't met yet!
We all worry about different things, I don't like going new places or meeting new people very much either.. I'm a bit daft and think I will go to the wrong place or I have gone on the wrong day and will get laughed at, but I never have done it is all just because I am worried about these new things. .. feel free to tell him that even as a really old grandma I am still anxious about these things.. and sometimes it makes my tummy feel wibbly and other times I need to go to the toilet lots before hand. but I have never been eaten by dinosaurs and no one ever laughed at me or anything bad and I am certain he will be just as safe as he is anywhere because he has a wonderful mummy, and lots of lovely grandmas and granddads and his very own special angel all looking after him, that is pretty special!
And next year, when he has done exceptionally well at all of these things he will need to tell his sister about how he is feeling and what he actually experienced and can reassure her like a magnificent big brother!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
