Morning all, didn't get much done yesterday and then headed down to mums to get DS1's football pic.

Plan today is a quick tidy then lunch and then we're of to the cinema. Kids super excited and I am slightly too (i'm a big kid really). Need to get a few loads done at MIL's and then this evening I might just take into my own bedroom, it's just a dumping ground at the minute. :o

Right better get kids up..

My FB status from 40 minutes ago.. I have had a full bowl of weetos tipped over, knocked over a full potty, lost the only bag I can think Squeak's birth certificate will be in, slipped on a wet nappy hidden under the pj's I'd just stripped off a silver glitter covered baby and broken my butt falling on it.. I haven't even got as far as putting the kettle on yet!

Kettle has JUST gone on and I've had Dot standing on my feet dribbling on my legs for the last half an hour.. she is in OH's chair with juice and her leappad now making big slurpy noises!.. Oh no.. she's doing a poo... lovely... I'm never going to get this cuppa!

Morning - I'm a bit jittery today - bad night's sleep.
Much racking of brains later sis has rung someone who is going round to check this morning. Not certain when, and sis is on her way to Paris.... so not certain when I will hear.

There have been problems with mums phone line intermittently - we are hoping that it is this again. Fingers crossed.

Did someone mention firms having a priority list for repairs? I think this was a priority service for the gas and leccy. Maybe last week? Mum is 85 and I'm 100 miles away....

Ah. This was me 2 weeks ago. It turned out that the phone line needed replacing (job done) and she'd dropped the mobile downstairs and couldn't put it back together again. There is now a red rubber band round the mobile phone to stop the back flying off and the battery shooting across the floor.
I also spent a night wondering what the ruddy hell was going on, so my sympathies are with you. :grouphug:

Deepest sympathies about the cat.

Anybody wants me, I'm working on the filing cabinet.
And then the desk shelves.
And emptying the shredder. And then the Dyson. :D
And going to the paper recycling. :rotfl:

Mummyyof5 so sorry to hear about your Mum's cat; one can only hope the poor thing was killed outright and felt nothing.:(

Impromptu cleaning of the cupboard under the sink - the sink outlet is dripping slightly, so there was water in there. I've cleaned it all up, and put an old margarine tub to catch any more drips - guess what Mr LW's going to be doing tonight.

Still haven't touched my tax return  - I always try to get it done asap as I get jittery having something like that (official paperwork) hanging over me. I'm scared of making a mess of it though, as the brainfog is really bad lately.

Mr LW helped me to colour my hair last night - I was going to just get him to wash it for me, but we decided that as we're dogless til tomorrow and I had the dreaded silver streak down the middle, it was a good time to get on and colour it.

Wax bath for my hands and feet scheduled for tonight.:o

Afternoon all
So far I've decluttered LR and scullery hoovered and sorted kids. DS2s pal is away home so it's just me and the 2 weans and the 2 dogs again. SiL just off the phone she's back her hols so I will get help now with the visiting at the hospital with pops instead of doing it all outselves.
Just about to phone about the door boys to see if and when they are showing up!
DD doing a paint your own garden gnome so she's happy and quiet. Will go now and have a look at my list to see if I can cross anything off !
Love and hugs to all x
