Washing machine decided it wanted to die on me tonight so new one ordered but won't be here for 2 weeks... So I shall just have to use MIL's machine and my sisters. We're heading to the beach house on the 13th so i'll get washing done there and machine should be here by the time I get back, PIL can let them in.
Flying wise the car has been cleaned out and I got about 7 loads of washing done. OH got the strimming done and grass cut.

Been busy today, managed 1 load of Ben Washing, and a Hoover of the LR carpet, right ok I was a bit lazy as far as the house goes but I did wash the caravan floor twice, helped OH put beading around the floor, had a long chat with a pal who is going though a hard time at the moment. DS1 is home I've not seen him for weeks cause he was at parklife, then Whitehaven and then Brighton. He's only back tonight then leaving in the morning for Birmingham then straight from there to t in the park so mum has his washing to have done by 7.30am. I'm nearly there now just one more load to dry but the cheeky wee git told me just to get up early and do it all in the morning! SS starting working with DS1 today so hopefully that means he's not going to sign up again for the army.
Couldn't find the dogs nail clippers there so I've cleaned out THAT cupboard under the sink! Found then so Mr Macs nails are trimmed and I will do Rabbits tomorrow.
Piggers glad wee moomin had a great day
Off to reload tumble dryer and wait for it to finish so I can go to bed!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

Morning all. I'm going to go off list this morning before the paid stuff and clean the HSL as it was neglected last week and I can write my name in the dust on the cabinet. Will try to work from today's list after the paid stuff.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning folks

1xwm done
OH has gone back to work. He is worried it is his new tablets making him sick.
I'm helping at school all day, Ds2 has been there for 1 year today.
Lots to do better get a shift on0 -
Hope things improve for you, Catsmith.
Glad to hear your DD has an early appointment, Skint - sending posi-vibes to you all.
Will keep a look out for you at the physio's, mummyyof5!I can write my name in the dust on the cabinet.
I can write my name in the dust on every downstairs surface and most of the upstairs tooIt is really horrid living in these conditions after the old house was so clean and tidy (thanks to flying lists), but I just keep thinking of the hoped-for end result. Apart from the kitchen surfaces - I do not like added roughage - it's not worth trying to clean anything here until the heating system is done. The new boiler was installed yesterday, so at least we are moving forward one step at a time. More of the same drilling and pipe bending today by our stalwart plumbers. Also another visit from a gem of an impoverished uni student (son of my DDiL1's sister's husband, if you can suss that one out!) who stripped most of the new kitchen walls yesterday while DH was chipping tiles off the old kitchen, ready for the plasterer to come :T
I relaxed for a couple of hours yesterday evening with my friends at the old wives group with a quiz that was written in the 1980s :rotfl: and have slept better than for many weeks. Despite the offer of delicious hm cake with the coffee - the group's priorities haven't changed over the past 40 years- I even managed to avoid temptation and not break my fast from 8.00 pm so that DH and I can get blood tests done this morning. We want to be at the horse piddle by 8.00 am when the clinic opens, so I'd best get moving now!
Hope everyone has a good day, or at least a better one than yesterday. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all in need. Do join me for :coffee: at regular intervals, to help lay the dust.0 -
Morning all, not long up here. Had breakfast so I best get dressed before Mr A arrives, i'm hoping he'll be here early then I can waken the kids.
Plan for today seeing as it's raining is to get boys bedroom done and mine. We've someone coming to collect a phone (DD had it on lend) so i'm very pleased that the place is looking well.
Must get a few loads of washing gathered up and take down to my sisters later. Might bung MIL some too if I see her this morning.:D

HSL done. I was going to water the plants but its started to rain. Just took DD breakfast in bed and hoovered downstairs to make sure she gets up for the paid stuff soon. It has worked. Just about to make a start on the kitchen list and will also walk the dogs if it stops raining.Spend less now, work less later.0
