Third update in a day!!
£10 petrol for my car This should see me through the weekend, the carboot is a fair old jaunt so wont last long!
Mid month budget done, and the insurance being missed has not put us back far I have £60 in savings and a further £230 which should be left from DH wages we have soaked the £20 charge up but will look into getting this refunded.
Also had a quick chat with DH and DS about cheap activities for the summer holiday so we have a few things in the pipeline.Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

I have started to load the car ready for tomorrow, I have 3 large boxes of clothes to iron and pack then onto the toys and other bits and bobs.
I am saving on nappies as the girls are in the swimming pool only one used so far today hopefully tomorrow after the carboot they will go back into the pool. DS is being very helpful and watching the girls while I pack the car up.
NSD today, resisted going to the school's summer fayre. I told DD1 it was cancelled as it was too hot!! So saved a few pounds.
I am thinking my clutch could be on its way out, we have no emergency savings so I am going to have a think and see what we can do. For the time being I think it would be wise to have £400-£500 put aside for anything like this.Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

Made £60 at the Carboot sale!!
£10 has gone back in the Jar £40 to make our first overpayment to the pesky loan and £10 towards extra shopping as its soo hot (ice lollies and squash).
We have done some shopping today
£14 Aldi
£10.10 B&M
£4 Tesco
Total remaining food budget £95.84 (exc £10 for juice and lollies)
We are having a BBQ later so no more spends I will have to top my car up soon for the school run next week I may try £25, its the last week of term so I am hoping to spend less or the next few weeks... however DS's friends live in the same village as his school and I am guessing he will want to go out this weather and I don't blame him!!Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

Thanks little pink purse, I love Iceland and very happy one has opened close to us
have a look at the packs of 10 in Iceland as they are £1 so you would get an extra 10
you are limited on flavours though x Mine also like the mini mouse freezer pops and they are 40 for £1 but they eat them one after another lol

Wow - well done on the car boot sale! You're inspiring me to get my house cleared out and my stuff ready to go! I am aiming to go one of the first two weekends in August so that gives me a few weeks to get the rest of the rooms sorted out. I also need to do a wardrobe clear out, but not sure if a car boot sale is the best place for that or not.
Are you doing the Aldi challenge that I've seen on TV or do you shop there anyway? I'm thinking about giving it a go - need to find an aldi close by tho!
Right must get back to work - chat soon!

Thanks MrsSmith. I didn't sell much clothes I took 2 boxes full some bits went but not a lot maybe ebay would be better?
I have not seen the Aldi challenge I will look out for it, we used to shop in Aldi but stopped as other stores are closer (not much though!!), we will be shopping in there more as it is cheaper and the food is nice.
I have paid my first £100 of the loan whoop whoop, will now be slow moving until the 28th but I will still aim to get another £100 in before then!
I seem to have loads of energy today, I have scrubbed the kitchen out and mopped the floors washed the walls of grubby finger prints, I now just have the living room and playroom to tackle but a cuppa and dinner first.
Also need to report petrol for my car £25Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

A few spends yesterday £55 petrol for DH and £9 food top up
I managed to sort another load for car boot yesterday and today DH is home so he can help. DD1 has Pre-School today so I am hoping I can get the house all sparkly before she comes home to destroy it!
I have a charity meeting tonight, last month there was an argument between 2 members on the panel I hope tonight's meeting is more peaceful!Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

Those aren't bad spends, I guess they are essentials!
I'm going to start a car boot tidy out this week. DD is off for a sleepover on Friday so will target her room first, while she isn't there! So much stuff that is never worn, used, played with... will probably be able to fill a car with just her stuff!
Ooh good luck at your meeting, nothing worse than sitting through someone elses arguement!
Enjoy the rest of your day,

Thank you MrsSmith and good Luck with the clear out, its amazing what they accumulate! And we wonder where our money went lol
I have one small spend £30 Aldi.
I have checked the online accounts and £334.15 is sat in the current account. I have moved £10 CSA money across to savings as this never goes into our budget and we have £15.43 in that account now only £84.57 left before I can make the next over payment!
This heat is really tiring me out, don't get me wrong its lovely to be out of the cold snap but being fair skinned it really affects me! I have seen an aircon unit in our loft which belongs to our landlord so will investigate the running costs and dig it out.Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97
