Woo Hoo - Happy Pay Day to you!
Good luck with sticking to you £200 budget for the month. I always find when its cash in hand, instead of sticking your pin number in, you are more careful.
I need to get my car boot stuff sorted out too, especially in this glorious weather. My only problem is, that I sometimes go wandering and end up buying other peoples junk instead of getting rid of my own!
I can sympathyse with the feeling down, I don't know why I feel like that too but I do. I guess we all have down days, but doesn't make it any easier.
Hope your DD is okay, and she gets something from the docs.

We have enough shopping to last us for 2 weeks, we will need to top up on salad, fruit milk and bread and will do another shop in a fortnight.
I am hoping with this nice weather I will save on nappies as DD2 will spend time in the paddling pool with her swimming costume onShe is showing signs of being ready for the potty but she is refusing at the moment.

Hi Deleted_User
The hospital were reluctant to say what was wrong with him however when I said my daughter was asthmatic they told me it was a rare form of pneumonia it is a bacterial one caused by being on a ventilator.Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

Wow - go you! Thats a pretty good shop you've managed to do, and still have more than half your budget left. Well done!
My DS is almost ready for potty training too I think, I just signed up for a free trial of pull-ups, have you tried them? I thought seeing as it was a free trial, and he seems to tell you when he's doing the toilet (not when he needs, when he's mid-flow but its a start!) that I would just get some!
Hope the sunshine stays and you get lots of paddling pool days x1st Jan 2014 £20,600 / 1st Jan 2015 £15,572.90**Feeling Hopeful that 2015 will be our Debt Free Year**0 -
I have used pull up's in the past but find them expensive, I tend to use easy up's or tesc0's pull up's.
It has been a busy and productive day in the Little-Miss household today :j:j Forcing motivation does work sometimes
We have cleared out the utility room to make way for the carboot stuff, I am ashamed to say we took out a binliner of shoes not fit for purpose or missing there mateand another binliner of rubbish
. It is now all sparkly and clean and filling up nicely with stuff to sell :j . DH has said he will be doing more than one carboot sale so no rush in going through all the rooms
I have also spoke to the bank regarding the re-occuring debit on my account, these have been stopped and I will be getting a refund from the company in 3-5 working days :j:j this will be going in to the savings to pay towards the high interest loan
Talking of the high interest loan DH called the company today to talk about overpayments, they advised no penalty's however we do need to call when making a payment and do it by debit card and ask for it to be a partial settlement. If we don't do it this way the computer system will automatically take money towards the interest doing it by card and saying partial settlement it will come off the capital and the interest will be recalculated. We have agreed to call and make payments of £100. I am hoping to have the first £100 by Monday, we currently have saved £30, we are getting another £30 minimum from the re-occuring debit on the account and hoping for £40 at carbootI also have stuff we can sell on line if we are short.
I have sold my second item on my ebay trade account I just need to build this up so I can make a profitI am selling items low at the moment as no feedback once the positive feedback comes in (I hope it's positive ) I can put my prices up a bit.:D
DD1 has been on a nursery trip today so I am hoping she goes to bed at a reasonable hour tonight, we take her bed at 7.30 but for the last 2 weeks she has been playing up and not settling til 9-10pm and I like them to get a good nights sleep.
I have given the lady who gave me clothes for DD2 some bits for her son so thats my good deed of the day.
Tonight I will be doing not a lot!! I will be catching up on diarys and thinking of more ways to make some money :cool:Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

Another busy day but a few spends to report
Sorted through another room so we now have a nice and sparkly bedroomand more to go in the carboot lot
Paid nursery fees £20 (budgeted)
New trainers for DD1 £18.99
DH work £1
Stationary set for DS £7 (budgeted)
So £20 un-budgeted spends which we need to make up before the 28th to stay on track. We had to get DD1 some trainers as she had sports day and no suitable footwearon reflection we didn't need to buy branded but I have to admit to being a trainer brand snob and they will be passed down to DD2...so I could say £9.50 on each of them
:rotfl: They were also discontinued stock so reduced :money:
Sports day was lovely and for the first year in a long time not rained off:j . DD1 won the sack race she is very good at jumping, it was all thanks to the footwear :rotfl:, just a shame she came last in all the othersOne very proud mummy as always

Well just when things seem to be getting better something has to come along to knock it
Opened a letter of DH's earlier and his car insurance did not go through this month, I was with him in the bank when he took the money out for the wonga loan and he asked if his insurance had gone out before making the withdrawal and they told him it had  So he now has to have £79 in his account by Monday £20 of this is charges from his insurance company  . I would love to blame DH but I was with himI do have the money in my account so we will transfer it later but it will slow down the £100 over payment this month
I just sent DH a message asking if he can book extra overtime to make this error up, he already has £400's worth booked this month the poor bloke will be shattered. We also wont get this months overtime until 28th August.
I have been looking through our garage and we have plenty to get rid of so I am going to keep on trying to sell bits and we do have the carboot this weekend.
I am taking DD's to feed the ducks this afternoon and to have a picnic, all free food left over from a buffet and DH's work yesterday (A little perk to being the last one to leave).
I had to buy DD1's leaving party tickets today I am also taking DD2 as DH will be working so a £6 spend they will get tea on that night, I may also need to top my car up on fuel but I will just take my cashcard and put it in if urgent.Total DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97

I wouldn't feel guilty - £20 for branded trainers is a bargain anyway!
Could you possibly try calling the insurance company and asking them to waive the charge? They might say no but if you don't ask you don't get!My Debt Free Diary

Claree it's worth a try I will ask him to call them from work tomorrow.
Just checked online banking and the money has gone back in from the company taking out payments so I have moved £30 across to the savings account.
I have £341.44 in the current account with only my car insurance left to pay, I will do a mid month budget tonight when DH comes home to see what needs to be put back for the bills which come out on the 1st August and transfer some money across for his car insurance. I believe we are expecting another £800 to hit this account before DH gets paid on the 28th. This will all be allocated to billsTotal DebtLoan [STRIKE]£2500[/STRIKE]£2284.97
