The casino seems very nervous... saying its up to the bank to try and get the money back... i really know know what the hack happened but I didnt deposit those amounts... I have read the bank normally sides with the customer and the bank then tries to blacklist me etc???
I'll ask again......So what the hack (?) did happen?
Do you have absolute proof of what happened?
If you didn't deposit these amounts, who did?
You have 2 'know's in your post above.
Do you know what happened or do you mean you don't know what happened?0 -
Sorry I meant I don't know.0

my friends had their friends over and also some other people they were around me also
And some were complete strangers?
Have you spoken to your friends about what happened and the possibility that one of their friends has accessed your account?I dont understand why people are saying I have no chance.... someone has done this.. surely the bank have to cover this? i accept i shouldnt have allowed someone to use my username but hey I didnt expect this... the casino already seems nervous in their emails to me.... they said its up to the bank to chase after the funds as the casinos stance is clear....
And why?
And when?
How can you tell the Casino 'seems nervous' from their emails if you say in the same sentence 'the Casino's stance is clear'?Well I will open a claim this week stating I didnt receive goods or services paid for... I have a feeling the casino is involved somehow.. could someone hack my account? Im sure its possible...
I agree with jkkne - it's more likely that one of the people at your place is responsible rather than a total stranger hacker.0 -
The Casino seems nervous translates to the Casino fobbed me off0

What an earth are you on? Have you been hacked before? I doubt you deal with this stuff as I have Been hacked before and got every Penny back. Dont pretend you deal with this stuff as you clearly just answer calls or infact don't deal with this at all.
Dalesrider's spot on.
If you were "hacked" and this could be proved (different IP, different gambling patterns etc) then you would have had your money refunded if it was clearly a fraudulent transaction.
However, if the bank see that your money has been spent from your IP, using the correct password, and with a similar gambling pattern, you're fairly stuffed. It doesn't look like fraud to them, and you can't prove anything.
Most banks also have it written into their T&Cs that they will not be liable for fraud on your account if the fraud occurs due to negligence on your part. (eg. PIN written on card for cashpoint fraud, fraudulent payments made by someone in the same household, unauthorosed payments made by a friend if you borrowed them your card previously)
You have been advised more than once to take this to the police, and your reluctance to do so and try and lay the blame everywhere else simply makes it look like you've made these payments and are now suffering gambler's remorse.0 -
OP....just answer the questions please and stop melting down.
Why won't you goto the police if your friends stole your money?Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -

Because his friends did it, his account was hacked, the casino did it, friends of his friends did it, or a big boy did it and ran away.0 -

If the bank asks me to go police I will... I have no worries about doing that..0 -
IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BANK!!!!
Oh, I give up. A fool and his money. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

Here's a few questions that you've not answered.
Do you want any help with this issue?
If you do, I suggest you answer some of the questions that have been put to you - and not just those from me.So these people weren't actually your friends?
And some were complete strangers?
Have you spoken to your friends about what happened and the possibility that one of their friends has accessed your account?i accept i shouldnt have allowed someone to use my username but hey I didnt expect this.
Who did you allow to use your username?

Do you have any basis (other than a 'feeling') in saying the Casino is involved.
