I have been reading this thread all morning........I'm gobsmacked.
Still trying to figure out if it is utter stupidity or has the OP got a gambling problem (or is it even trolling).0 -
Go to HSBC and change your password and your hint. Make your password and hint something only you will know (personally my hint is not relevant to the password).
Then do one of the following:- If your friend is a person, then report them to the police and seek repayment from them.
- If your friend is a bottle, then seek gambling and alcohol addiction support.
Another avenue to explore would be having the Casino/bank prove they did all they could to verify it was you, that is they performed a proper Verified By Visa / Mastercard Securecode check. If they didn't, liability shifts towards them, but you're still going to have to go to the police and claim your card was used without your knowledge and permission. To be honest though, by claiming already your password/hint was easy, I don't think you stand a chance.0 - If your friend is a person, then report them to the police and seek repayment from them.

Can you prove it was a friend and that you weren't too smushed to remember it, or that you weren't sleep gambling?
I hope this is a troll post. It has all the makings, an I don't want to beige that there's somebody THIS stupid out there...0 -
The casino seems very nervous... saying its up to the bank to try and get the money back... i really know know what the hack happened but I didnt deposit those amounts... I have read the bank normally sides with the customer and the bank then tries to blacklist me etc???0

Just to paint an opposing view, perhaps the casino are 'nervous' as they realise you have a gambling issue and this may look bad if it gets out...and they want to distance themselves from you ASAP.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Well I will open a claim this week stating I didnt receive goods or services paid for... I have a feeling the casino is involved somehow.. could someone hack my account? Im sure its possible...0

Get real. No-one has 'hacked' your account.
One of your mates, or mates 'mate' has either gone into browser history (perhaps a password saved or they've seen you put the password in) and after a good few cans of something has thought 'oooh, lets have a gamble with xx money'
Get into reality, speak to your mates and sort it. If no-one admits it, get the Police in and open a case with them.
The bank aren't going to entertain moddycoddling suggestions of 'please sir, it was evil hackers, honest, I've no idea how it happened, there were lots of strangers and friends at my house, I fell asleep, maybe it was a computer error'
Get real. Get the police. Get it sorted. Get new friends0 -
first it was a friend now its the casino involved somehow. Why don't you admit you have a gambling problem.
Your story has more plot holes in it then a bad b-movie.0 -

I am pretty sure the casino will have IP logs to prove it was all done on your computer and there will no reason for any bank to refund you as you have not looked after your card/information properly.0 -

So now the casino are involved or your account has been hacked.
From what you say you has your card out and deposited £600 and the friends of friends somehow saw you enter your password and deposited some extra money into your casino account.
Why on earth you would open a gambling account and leave your card around for people to use is beyond me.0
